  • 2x256mb PC133 Double Sided (16 chip) DIMMS and WD800JB hdd under warranty.

TechnoButt was the Seller on August 17, 2005 AnandTech

He paid quickly. I shipped fairly quickly in a secure package. He notified me promptly upon receipt. It's been 4 days since then and I haven't gotten any indication that he's having any trouble (or responses to requests about the same and heatware). We're beyond my standard 72hr DOA, so I'm assuming everything is ok and leaving positive feedback for what appears to have been an easy and quick transaction. Highly recommended!

  • He sold me a pair of 512mb PC133 64x64 (64x4) ultra high density dimms.

TechnoButt was the Seller on January 31, 2005 AnandTech

Rapid shipment. Solid packaging. Excellent communication. Patient seller. He realized there was a good chance for incompatibility with these sticks and was very reassuring that had they not worked out I could ship them back for a refund at my cost of shipping. Upfront and honest trader. I'd gladly do business with him again as a buyer OR a seller. A+

  • $65 Shipped PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 450ATX T45X-CD1 PSU *sold to BaldAvenger $70 Shipped w/adapters* -Currently sold refurbished direct from PCP&C for $149.99 -I bought this PSU to have a factory swapped fan to Coolermaster A8025-25RB-3BN-P1 and factory black rubber sleeving (much like shrinkwrap), in any case it's quiet and performs well for me. I used it to run my P4 530J 3.0@3.92ghz with 2x120mm case fans and a zalman cnps7700cu (120mm) + 4x WD800JB drives in a RAID5 array with dual BFG 6600GT PCI-e's in SLI, quite a load. Fan never got loud on the PSU, temps in my case stayed cool 35C and CPU under full load at 57C. I'm only selling it because I'm looking to go up to a PCP&C 510 SLI for a dual 6800Ultra upgrade (impending.. first one is on the way). Pictures to follow soon: +5V@50A, +12V@18A, +3.3V@40A, total *CONTINUOUS* power: 450W, Peak power 550W. Total of 10 Molex plugs + 20Pin + P4 Header + P6? (the server header) Options: $2 Floppy Adapter (small molex) $2 Sata Adapter $5 20 to 24 pin adapter (use with lga775 motherboards, etc)

He paid promptly with paypal. I shipped well packaged. I missed a Friday fedex ground outbound so it didnt' go out until following Monday. He did not complain one bit about the small delay. Promptly tested the unit on delivery and stayed in constant communication throughout the deal. I'm glad to be the first to leave feedback for someone who's on their way to becoming an established great trader. A+

  • SLK-700 copper heatsink and original TMD fan

TechnoButt was the Buyer on May 9, 2005 AnandTech

Rapid shipment and good communication. There was a slight hiccup when the package arrived without the clips that hold the fan in place, but Karsten quickly found the missing clips and paid extra to ship them out rapidly the same day (without being asked). I always say it's the trades that have problems that separate the good traders from the bad, and even a trade that really didn't involve enough money to matter to most people received nothing but the FASTEST and most careful handling by Karsten. A true asset to the trading community. I'd gladly buy anything from him big or small in the future.

  • I sold Blaine a complete high definition HTPC with dual tuners, large hard drives, and so forth based on NF2/barton mobile 2600.

TechnoButt was the Seller on July 18, 2005 AnandTech

He paid and I shipped fedex ground. The heatsink broke away in shipping and damaged several components (motherboard, cpu, video card, hsf, and case). He took pictures and contacted me promptly via email when he saw the contents. I immediately ordered replacements (like for like) through newegg and had them shipped directly to Blaine. He installed them and reported everything was ok except the video card. He returned the video card. Fedex denied my insurance claim for $444.46+shipping on the package (my costs of replacing the damaged components with like for like, but newer revisions with full retail packaging/warranty). Blaine was nice enough to let me keep the $75 refund for the defective video card (which put me out $370) and agreed to send me the XP-90C heatsink I ordered as a replacement for the SLK700 that was damaged and no longer available (as the XP-90C wouldn't work with the system). He worked with me to try and resolve the claim with fedex doing everything he could to assist. He even sent back the damaged parts on his nickel. They still denied the claim. I worked through the Better Business Bureau to resolve the claim with Fedex and two months later I've been notified that I'm going to receive a partial settlement.

Blaine was in no way responsible for any of the problems in the transaction. In fact, he went above and beyond by letting me keep the refund for the second video card from newegg to help offset my $450 loss and to agree to send me the $50 XP-90C that he couldn't use.

I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. He was honest, upfront, made payment in full, provided the labor to replace the damaged parts without any complaint. He was courteous, provided pictures of the shipping damage and packaging.

If you ever have opportunity to do business with Blaine on any level (I can attest for up to $1000 on a single transaction), he is honest, has great communication, and is very easy to deal with even when the situation goes to hell. :) A+ trader, asset to the community.

  • Traded a logitech MX510 and some PDP PDC5123200LLK (2x256mb PC3200 DDR) for a Pioneer head unit.

    Cross-traded on July 19, 2005 AnandTech

He shipped first thanks to a significant difference in our heat. He packaged well and shipped promptly. I got the unit in great condition. Only hiccup was a missing trim ring, which he promptly sent as soon as I mentioned it (somehow it didn't make it into the box). Great trade with a great trader. I look forward to working with him again! A+

  • Visiontek X850XT PCI-e bare card (no retail hsf) and a Zalman VF700Cu cooler.

TechnoButt was the Seller on August 23, 2005 AnandTech

He paid promptly and let me know as soon as the package arrived. There were some problems with playback on some video files, but they appear to have been codec/driver issues and not problems with the card. User reports 3D Gaming is great! Overall, good transaction. Great trader. Solid communication. I'd work with him anytime and so should you.
