After we came to an agreement, I freed up my cards for shipping and let him know I was ready to make the deal. I ended up shipping a bit earlier than he did which was early in Sept around the 9th. I shipped USPS Priority to a US address he provided and he assured me he would ship around the 12th or no later than the 15th which was no big deal to me. The mistake I made was thinking that since he had a US address, he would ship priority mail as well so delivery should only be around 2-3 days from the 15th at the latest.

After inquiring to him around the 20th since nothing had yet arrived, he informed me that he had yet to ship. In all fairness, he did volunteer to make a "deposit" for my cards until he could ship but rather than go through that I thought his word and 100+ heatware rating would be good enough for a confirmed shipping date. He ended up shipping on the 21st, a far cry from the 12th or 15th but since the deal did go through I can't give him a negative. I would hesitate to deal with him again unless everything between us was hammered out in advance and I was assured there would be no hiccups or excessive delays in shipping.

Initial trade went smooth, sans the slow shipping on his part but he just wanted to be sure it was packed well.

Upon arrival, I tried numerous CPU and ram combinations including parts from the official "supported list" to get this motherboard working. After much frustration I contacted him to see what chip he used in this system, only to be informed "I never got it to work". This statement was very disheartening to me because I would hope one wouldn't knowingly sell or trade off untested or non-working parts without at least disclosing that up front. In the end, we swapped motherboards back and I sent him some ram for the case and heatsink. Had I known this board was basically untested up front, I most likely would have not went through with this deal. Since he did make good on everything though, I still have to give him a positive rating since he stepped up and made it all right.

After waiting patiently for over 2 weeks, I never heard back from him regarding shipping on this item. I tried to PM and send email to all points of contact but I never got a reply.

Come the beginning of October, I decided enough was enough so I filed a paypal claim in the hopes that would at least protect me or get a reply. Sure enough, it did. I was informed that he was busy, flu and child which is understandable BUT a simple reply to my many attempts to contact him would have alleviated all of this. Instead I had to file a paypal claim and the item did arrive a few days later. Sad that it takes that to get a reply and the item shipped.
