Drive showed up in a beat up box. Didn\'t look good from the onset. Opened it up let it acclimate to the temperature of my home. Installed it and it was a gonner. I checked with Hitachi on warranty and it was covered. I offerd to RMA the drive for the cost of shipping it to Hitachi which is cheaper than shipping it back and getting another drive. Communication was good throughout process.
