Thomas Hollingsworth (Rache) posted a thread for a "brand new and is still sealed in its static bag" drive. (That is an exact quote from his thread.)I contacted him and got a response back that it was still available. I sent him the PayPal the same day, and then never heard from him again, until I brought the issue up in another "for sale" thread of his a while later, asking why he never sent the drive, or sent an email, or anything.
He replied (by PM), that he "honestly forgot about it." I asked if he would ship it the following Monday, (by FedEx), and he agreed. A few days later, he sends me another PM, stating,
"Michael,
I was boxing up your drive, about to send it out, and I noticed some scratches near the screw holes that should not be there on a new drive. I took it out of the static bag, and there are some small scratches on both sides. The front is in perfect condition, but it looks like it's been used."

At this point, I saw classic signs of something fishy, so I demand a refund ASAP. Another day goes by without any response from him. (Although I know he has been logged in). So I ask again in a Private Message: "I am just wondering what the hold-up is with my refund. Please respond asap. Thanks...."

I finally get the PayPal refund from him, but of course I am left paying the PayPal transaction fees.

The final icing on the cake is that he left negative feedback for ME after this transaction! I wish I had never entered into a deal with this dishonest person, as it has marked the otherwise excellent experience that I have had with trading online.

I would like to take this opportunity to warn people that Thomas Hollingsworth might "forget" about the transaction right after you send him your PayPal.
