Tim F&*KED ME OUT OF MY MONEY. I lost 250 bucks to him. He sent me the CPU i installed it and never got the first beep from my brand new set up. I then sent my MB back thinking "well others have had problems with KK266rs" Got the new MB back within a week and nothing still.
I contact Tim after testing my setup with a duron I bought locally. So i contact Tim. He says NP send it back to this addy, blah blah blah. I send CPU back. HE contacts me a week or so later saying the core was cracked. I didnt see how the core was cracked and he was trying to get a replacement for it. A few weeks go by and after several EMAILS and PMS he gets back to me and says he cant do anything for me.
I negotiate a deal with Tim to pay half the cost of a new one which at the time was 140 bucks or so. He agrees and never sends any money. Contacted him on several occations since and nothing, no replies or anything. If you ever have a chance to deal with tim DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT

Bonkers is a reputable trader amoungst the boards. Well known for doing alot of business. This is my 2nd deal with him. The first went sweet as sugar. This deal on the other hand has me with a bad feeling.
I Purchased this CPU with the understanding he and I would crosship. Not about truse, but i had a money order and needed to use that money instead of paypal. We both agreed to cross ship. This was on sunday. After I sent him confimation about the MO was sent. He tells me it will be wedsday before he will ship. He did ship on Wed, but the deal was for monday shipment. He said he would upgrade it to next day, but still could not send it before wed. Well that was OK, but he did NOT send it next day freight. I ended up getting the CPU on Saturday which was ok. Still Im not as happy as i should be with his performance and him doing as we made the deal to do.
Other than this. He is a great trader. i doubt anyone will read this far down on the evals to even catch it, but i thought i would add it anyways.

Great communications. I had problems with the Video card at first. Was totally my fault for not uninstalling my V3 drivers. I ended up reinstalling W98. The problem went away. At first I thought i was being ripped off, but after emails and presonal messages I knew the card was good. He kept emailing me asking if i had worked out the problems yet.
