  • BS+LIES+MISSING ITEMS+NO REFUND=MARCUSFOX

MarcusFoX was the Seller on December 4, 2009 RedFlagDeals

thread on rfd in Scammers and Warnings : http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/marcusfox-816332/

i took two days (48 hours) to make the payment(have PMS and BANK INFO as proof) in wich time he sold my items to a second buyer..he says i took two weeks (and im quoting him) :

looks like he treats some of his buyers better than others....

this guy cant keep his word for long.
i dont know how he does business.
and then his way of communication.he has to learn to stop insulting people, mods,admins,forums..etc.
buyer beware. he will try to bs/lie his way out of trouble like there is no tomorrow.
if you dont get your full order, good luck. he doesnt do refunds.involve the mods right away and dont wait.
a lot of buyers are afraid to leave feedback because of retaliatory reply he can and will leave. no worries, the mods are there to protect you.
    again, buyer beware.

reply to your latest edit :

ON HWC MOD INTERACTION WAS NEEDED BECAUSE YOU DID NOT SHIP MY ORDER IN FULL. ONCE THE MOD LOOKED OVER YOUR MESS UP, HE ORDERED YOU TO SHIP ME THE PARTS THAT I PAID FOR AND WICH YOU DIDNT INITIALLY SHIP.
YOU ARE FULLY AWARE OF THIS, LOOK AT THE NEUTRAL ON THERE. THE MODERATOR TOLD ME TO LEAVE YOU THE FOLLOWING, AND IM QUOTING HIM AS IN THE FEEDBACK ITSELF: \' Simply state that \"you needed Mod interaction to complete the transaction based on mis-communication\".

ON RFD THE SAME THING HAPPENED, BUT 1-YOU HAD ALREADY SOLD MY ITEMS THUS YOU COULDNT SHIP THEM ANYMORE AND
2-YOU DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY.

ISSUES WITH YOUR SCAMMER WAY OF DOING BUSINESS ON 2 DIFFERENT FORUMS. ON THESE 2 FORUMS YOU WERE TOLD TO SHIP ME MY ITEMS OR REFUND. ON RFD YOU DID NOT REFUND ME THUS YOU GET A NEGATIVE.
I HAVE NEVER FABRICATED ANYTHING, SIMPLY QUOTING YOUR PMS/POSTS IS ENOUGH TO PROVE YOU WRONG PLUS YOU INCRIMINATE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIMES.
    I PAID, YOU DIDN\'T DELIVER,REFUND. BAD TRADER.
THUS, YOUR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK IS RETALIATORY. I PAID FOR MY ITEMS, I EXPECT THEM OR IF YOU ARE A BAD TRADER AND SELL THEM TO A SECOND BUYER,I WANT AT LEAST A REFUND. IF THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE EITHER(DON\'T GIVE ME THE \'I WANTED TO REFUND BUT...) YOU YOURSELF SAID NO REFUNDS, SHOULD I QUOTE YOU AGAIN??

And there will be no refunds, Ill will send you what I owe you or sell you other items you need..

I STILL HAVE THE MESSAGES SAVED. YOU CANNOT BE SAFE ENOUGH WHEN DEALING WITH YOUR WAYS.
I ALSO HAVE THE MESSAGE WHERE YOU SAY THAT IF YOU SHIPPED MY ITEMS IT WOULD BE A BAD DEAL FOR YOU..COME ON MAN.
STOP THE LIES, BS, AND ALL THAT.

    Response from MarcusFoX
I gave you 2 weeks to pay for those item I had first offered I made you up a few offers after that that didnt even include the fan controllers, then on RFD you fabricated and re made my pms to make it look bad..... you knew after the dispute over on Hardwarecanucks.com which was the forum was were this deal took place originally not rfd, I did not disrespect anyone or any mods what so every on RFD or Hardwarecanucks only thing I might be guilty of ignoring NXS request to re fund you $20 for those Fan controllers which I didnt owe you at all I have proof of that which the admins are rfd completely ignored \" good job failed RFD admins\" you pieces of shit, you changed the time on the EMAIL from interact and submitted it to RFD just so you could get me ban which is pritty dirty in my mind if you ask me =-). you knew full and we\'ll what kind of person I am or you yourself would not have traded with me, you trade with people everyday that trade with me on HWC and rfd and they never had any issue, I am one of the most liked traders to my customer base on HWC ... if you claim that there to scared to actually post bad feedback go ask some of them, I know for a fact what they\'ll tell you. because I know what kinda of person you really are ur a scum bag plain and simple you knew I didnt have the pms from hwc and rfd to fight back because of the ammount of pms and sales I make. Im lucky for Charlie3.0 he backs up his forum so I could actually get proof of my pms I had made too you so that he could make an accurate decsion.

ALso Still strangely remaining is the fact you tryed to take my items by telling the HWC admins that I owed you these items which you didnt even buy from me \" what was it again\" 1/2 Hose?? and fittings.. strangly then on RFD after I made you look like an ass to the admins the story changed?? it changed to Fan controllers. Which is we\'ll after I sent you the the second package with the water and resvoir why didnt you mention this on HWC?? because that proof you are a liar.

We\'ll guess what that didnt work Your nothing but a Scum bag and I seriously have to watch in the future who I deal with, because they could be a person like you, simple with to much time on there hands who is looking to take a person like me for a ride.

We\'ll Dang guess what it didnt work. you failed and accomplished nothing you havent hurt my rep I just sold a $680 video card today. I tell you this because I you told me on a through a pm on HWc that what you were going to do. and you wanted a refund after saying that BS to me ... \"take a hike pal\"

and you are not getting ur $20 or $185 or 1/2 hose or even fittings I supposly owe you!!! I owe you nothing!! and like I told the RFD admins I might Have actually gave you a refund no problem at all... if you wouldnt have been such an asshole from the very first pm on hwc after you got the first package. which is kinda sad because I gave you my telephone number and told you to phone me and we could talk the whole thing out like men and resolve it, which would probly have came to a much better resault, because maybe we could have come to some kind of understanding?? but this resault is just as good =-)

Which is my next point and the reason I didnt take this whole thig very seriously from the start was \" I dont have the time to sit on a forum and fight back against little weezles like ur self Dangtx, and remind you repeatly to pay my money and save items for you and pick up after you like mommy probly does at home.

Simply said I gave you all kinda of ways to resolve this... you could have even called me...What about your friend Moviestar?? posting negitive feedback on my account when I didnt even deal with him at all if that doesnt spell dirty conduct to you or anyone looking to deal with you in the future I dont know what does.

  • Intel Matx DG33TL Mainboard NIB

MarcusFoX was the Buyer on May 17, 2008 RedFlagDeals

    http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/s...d.php?t=529521

    Quote:
Intel Matx DG33TL Mainboard NIB. I bought this for a friend that desided to back out at the last moments. $110 shipped Great board.
There is a story to this board. It was originally owned by sassysue (a RFD member). Several weeks ago, MarcusFox PM\'ed me and asked me to sell him my BNIB Intel DG33TL board I had for sale. He asked me to beat the lowest retail price (including shipping) by at least $20. The lowest price found was $128 + taxes + shipping so I offered it to him at $105 shipped. That\'s when the lies began. He then told me that sassysue was selling one for $85 shipped -- eventhough, sassysue had it for $100 in his thread. I said I wouldn\'t match that price.

In the meantime, MarcusFox is PM\'ing sassysue and telling him that I am willing to sell him my DG33TL for $85 shipped. My lowest price was $100, and sassysue agreed to sell it to him for $90 shipped (might have been $85 in the end).

I know this because sassysue and I began contacting each other after I suspected MarcusFox was lying about the prices. Sure enough, he did lie to both of us. Now, he is selling the same board for profit in this forum. He does a lot of buying and selling from all the forums (Anandtech, [H]ard, and RFD). There is no doubt in my mind that he lowballs/lies to people to get a cheaper price, then tries to sell the stuff for profit on a different forum or at a later time as to not get caught.

Well, MarcusFox, you have been busted!

    Response from MarcusFoX
    This is absolute BS

you sold me the board for $90 shipped, if you were not happy with the deal as it was made why did you trade with me then.

Only reason why you making a big deal out of this is because I have now reposted this board forsale, and you figure you got ripped off.

  • Sold an Intel Quad Core QX6700 Retail CPU.

MarcusFoX was the Buyer on December 2, 2007 RedFlagDeals

He made an extreme low ball offer of $300 shipped for a $1000 CPU. Rather than ignoring him or telling him to buzz off, I accepted his offer as long as he was willing to wait up to 17520 hours (i.e. 2 years) for me to ship. I figured in 2 years, the $300 would be a fair price. He totally missed the 17520 hour thing and sent money even after I told him twice to be sure he was happy with the terms of the deal before sending money.

Long story short... he ended up paying the balance of my asking price and I shipped the CPU.

    Why neutral?

I asked for Paypal in Canadian dollars. He sent USD. He paid way more than he had to, and I received less than I should have, because of Paypals horrible exchange rate.

He asked way too many questions and demanded a lot of attention throughout the deal process.

It is not a good idea to deal with anyone that would miss an important detail about a deal.

    Why not negative?

Because when he realized that he screwed up, he manned up and completed the deal to my satisfaction.

    Response from MarcusFoX
Asked to many questions, how is that wrong?? Asking questions is the right thing to do in all cases.

I admitted to missing your little Sarcastic \"17520\" hour detail, and I admitted right to you for sending you usd instead or CAD by accident?? plus I also corrected the problem by sending you $280 instead of $260 like you asked, ?? do you not remember I still have the pms.

There is nothing in what you typed that makes me deserving of a neutral feedback, I should get over A++ postive for playing into your sceeming Game.

The Fact of the matter is you took my $300 and you scammed me for another $280cad, just to get your cpu sold, The only reason I gave you the money sir was because you had me in a spot, and you said quote \"I will not refuned you money\".

And then to top it all off you have your dumb enough to come on here give me neutral feedback and try to twist the story so it looks like I was to blame.
\"2 Wrongs to make a right buddy and what your doing here is wrong\".

Heatware admins will be getting a pm.

  • I was paid for an SLI bridge on 6/17.

MarcusFoX was the Seller on June 23, 2008 AnandTech

I paid for an SLI bridge + I/o panel on 6/17. I get a response saying it would be shipped out this week. Well I sent him a PM on hardforums today (6/24) and get this response \"hey sorry I didn\'t realize you even paid\"

THIS IS BS!! I have a copy of a private message, where I sent him my shipping address, told him I paid. His response to my private message was \"i\'ll get this out to you this week\", so I know he knows he got the payment.

He did say he\'ll refund me the money, but it\'s still not in my paypal account. So we\'ll see about that. Thank god it was only $15. Thank you for your lack of communication, making me wait, and also delaying my build yet another few days.

I\'ve been trading for awhile, and ran into some bad situations in the middle of trades (during tax season, death of a family), but still I kept everyone informed. This is ridiculous and very annoying.

Despite what you think, we did conduct a transaction. I paid, you said you would ship. But then based on the fact that you did nothing, I ended up with nothing.

    Response from MarcusFoX
I told you I was busy and had forgotten and overlooked it.

I am sorry for this a full refund was given to the buyer.
