I had just recently sold a motherboard to Jason when I saw he had a FS thread going on AT. I was going to give him a free bump and noticed that he had a WTB list in there too, one of the items was an AGP card. I was in the middle of a deal, waiting to receive a new GF4 128MB card at the time. I PM'd him to see if he'd be interested in the old 32MB card after I had a chance to install and test the new card.

He was interested and we agreed on a price, we arranged to have him pay after I shipped out the card. I got the new card, made the swap and immediately boxed up the old card and sent it his way. He paid via PayPal without delay. After a couple of days, having had a chance to test the card out, he PM'd me to let me know that the card was non-op for him.

I was a bit surprised seeing it was running in my main system less than a week before. I replied with some tips for troubleshooting and also offered to immediately refund his PayPal + and extra $10 to ship it back to me and apologized for the inconvenience.

Jason tried other agp cards successfully but didn't have another board to try my card in so he declined the offer of the extra cash and said he'd ship it back for an even refund of his payment.

I received tracking info and then the card a few days later packaged well. I suspect the fan may be shakey but haven't found a replacement to test it with yet.

Jason was extremely cooperative and understanding with this issue. I would doubt highly that many traders would refuse the extra refund if offered as well. He is definitely a top notch trader on my Good Traders list! I look forward to dealing with Jason on AT FS/FT again in the future.

Jay bought these drives from me back in Jan 06. Two of them arrived DOA. The were still covered under warranty and he offered to RMA them and deal with the replacement. I refunded his PayPal immediately and told him he was welcome to deal with it as long as he was willing.

Well here it is over a month later and he re-PayPal\'d me the agreed upon amount minus his shipping costs for the RMA. Simply OUTSTANDING, let alone rare, I can\'t rate this deal POSITIVE enough!!!!

Sony SDT10000 SCSI DDS4 Dat drive

There were special circumstances regarding this deal.

I posted this drive as not having been verified as functional, no longer having access to a SCSI system. The deal was that I would ship first, give the person a month to verify it's condition, and if satisfied they would pay $100. Otherwise, they could return the unit to me at my cost for the return shipping. A win/win deal IMO.

Alex was the perfect candidate for this trade. While he didn't have any Heatware to go by, his eBay refs combined with his tenure on the AT forums plus my feeling after several PM's were enough for me to feel comfortable with the deal.

Alex was always in communication, very professional, and asked all of the right questions. In the end the drive proved to be fully functional and Alex paid via PayPal as we agreed ASAP.

Overall I couldn't have hoped for this special deal to go any smoother. If you have any reservations about trading with Alex, feel free to PM me on the AT forums and I'll have plenty more positive remarks to add.
