    On 5/21/03 I struck a deal with Joe for a Sound Blaster MP3 card and software for $24 shipped.

    Huntress was the Seller on June 25, 2003 AnandTech

    The only difference between the MP3 version of this card and the regular Sound Blaster Live card is the Software. We finalize the deal on 5/26 and I send Paypal (note this was over the holiday weekend).

    Then I get a PM telling me A) it's been shipped; B) Here's the DC# and C) Can't find the software, but looking for it, and will ship as soon as located, had it that week, so just misplaced.

    I PM back saying thanks, and that I was wanting the software, at which point he responded:

    "Yea, I figured as much since you included the description =). Again, I'm real sorry about this, but I'll let you know as soon as I find them and get them shipped."

    That msg was on 5/27. This was the last communication I have had from this trader since. I now have the device, installed and running, but I have no software. I purposely picked this item for it's software. I could have picked one without the software and saved dollars (not a lot, this is not a pricey item, but that is NOT the point).

    So I start sending PMs and email. I have asked for either the software or a small refund for the difference between what I paid versus what the going price of the device alone is going for.

    No responses at all. He was away from AT for over a week, so I waited, however it has now been two days since his last visit, so no excuses now.

    Here's a negative for your lack of resolution.
