tefleming was the Seller on December 17, 2003 AnandTech

I paid for the goods on 18 December 2003. At that time, I was told the items would be shipped by 23 December 2003. I began asking for the tracking number on 25 December 2003. Communication at this point was spotty and evasive.

Eventually, after two weeks time (on 2 January 2004) I enlisted the help of the TrollHunters. On their advice, I filed a complaint with Paypal. Needless to say, he got very communicative at this point. He then elaborated on his story of using a paper air bill from a friend?ÇÖs UPS account to ship and eventually provided me a tracking number. This number indicated that the package had been manifested but never received by UPS.

The package status eventually indicated that the package had been delivered to UPS on 6 January 2004. (18 days after payment, two business days after the complaint was filed.) It finally arrived on 12 January. Contrary to his story, it had been shipped via a Paypal UPS account (no indication of when.) His delay meant that I had to have the package forwarded on to me?Çöand he refuses to give me more than a partial reimbursement for the additional expense of forwarding it.

In my opinion the packaging was inadequate and only a lot of luck prevented serious damage in shipment.

In the end (15 business days later) I have the Shuttle and the Processor (both in the condition they were advertised.) But I will not do business with him again because of:

    repeated delays,

    a lack of communication, and

a failure to take responsibility for problems that are clearly his

It was the holidays, its FAMILY time...I dont know how your family life is, but the time around christmas
until new years is time to be with family etc, not to be sitting in front of my computer.

UPS lost the package after pickup (they didnt scan it in) and i had no proof of it sending until they finally scanned it in awhile later. The Package was shipped VERY Adequately, It was brown boxed with some bubble wrap around it. When i bought a cube from a business, they sent the cube in just the bare box! No brown box, no nothing. It was just fine. He is just overly anal when he doesnt need to be.

Failure to take responsibility for problems that are clearly mine? How is it a responsibility of mine when UPS LOST THE PACKAGE? UPS wont admit mistakes that you cant prove. No business will.
