  I bought a Dell Latitude laptop w/ 56K Modem for $625 from Theo.

  GambiT was the Seller on August 16, 2001 AnandTech

  After many questions about the laptop, I agreed to price and wanted the modem too. I paypal him that day. Theo says he will ship it asap. That night he PM's me with the UPS tracking number. I don't look at it until 2 days later because it wouldn't be in the system. I look 2 days later, on Sunday, and it says that it's to arrive the next day! Great, I think. Monday rolls around and I realize that it's not being shipped to my city nor my state, it's going to KS. Simple human error I thought, so I PM Theo around noon time to ask him for MY tracking number. No response for a few hours. So I PM him again, with the tracking info he gave me. Still no response. I look into his profile and saw that he had logged in since I sent him those PM's. I wait a couple of hours and I PM him once again, but no response. That night I PM'd him again, stating that I know that he's logged on and seen my PM's and that he's AVOIDING me. He finally responds and says, I'll get it in a sec. But in the meantime, I've already filed a complaint to paypal to put a hold on his account because of his non-communication. He responds and give me the correct tracking number, but has the NERVE to say that I never asked him for it. I was satisfied with that tracking number so I called off the dogs. The Laptop came, but it has some dings and nicks on it. I was under the impression that it was in perfect condition because he never told me about this large scrapes. He didn't offer any recompense at all and explained that all the laptops he has have some wear and tear to them. Although the packaging was nice, but it's his attitude and lack of communication is why I'm leaving him a negative review.
