Review for user JimRaynor from DaDoctor

  • MSI K8N Neo PLATINUM with ALL accessories CRUCIAL 512MB PC2700

DaDoctor was the Seller on December 15, 2004 AnandTech

Overall this transaction is neither positive nor negative, here is why:

I pm'd JIM, that if he'd ship USPS Priority with Delievery Confirmation, he had a deal.
I sent payment to Jim via Paypal on 11/13/04 at 10AM PST. I didn't hear back from him until 11/16/04 saying he hadn't shipped my items yet. Waiting 3 days to repond after I sent payment was problem number one. I informed him to send me the confirmation number once my items shipped, which he did later that day. The items arrived 3 days later, as expected, well packed and in excellent condition, just as described, with one exception, there was no IO plate, even though his FS thread stated it came with it, problem number two. I figured he had made an honest mistake, and he would send it, when he realized it. He did 'eventually' send it, but in a mail envelope, no padding, just taped to paper. Well, when I finally recieved it, it had been throughly smashed in the mail, and was no longer usable. The board and memory run great, but because Jim couldn't handle these simple selling related issues, I can't say this was a positive transaction. I hope he realizes the error in his ways, and takes the appropriate steps to rectify them in the future.

This is ridiculous, and in my opinion this guy was completely out of line. First off, I didn't wait 3 days to respond, I responded the same day, as evident in the message history. "Items well packed and in excellent condition." Concerning the IO plate... He never said ANYTHING about it. *I* was the one that noticed I didn't send it. I sent him a message saying that I did evidenced in the pm history. HE is the one that NEVER even said anything about it. He never even acknowledged that it was missing. If this was such a big issue why did he NEVER even mention it or respond to the pm that I sent him? "I figured it was an honest mistake." Ok so the IO plate was damaged. I reinforced it with some posterboard but it was damaged--ok. Why not allow me to correct this situation? Why would he still NEVER contact me about it? IMO this is completely out of line to not even bring something like this to my attention or allow me to make things right. "The board and memory run great." I can't believe something would say things like that with the poor communication that he had. Completely ridiculous. When I asked him about feedback he also said

    " Jim

sorry i've taken so long.. the board works GREAT! i'm ready to exchange heatware, if you could leave me feedback under DaDoctor, i'll do the same for you..

    thanks again! "

Does it sound like he was unsatisfied????? Ridiculous. What do you think?
