Duron 1600MHz, claimed to run at 2.4GHz
VoraciousGorak was the Seller on December 22, 2004 AnandTech
I paid for the CPU October 29, including $6 for shipping and handling. A week later, when I received no word of the CPU being shipped, I started the longest e-mail chain in my inbox. Amidst a torrent of excuses and garbage, I began to wonder if I had wasted my money and he didn't have the chip at all. Then, I got word that it was shipped... 48 days after payment.
The chip was sent in a plastic carrier typical of CPU transfers, in a padded envelope with two stamps. It arrived fifty days after pay date, so I effectively paid $6 for 50th-day shipping, not even a box. The corner of the plastic carrier looked like the USPS had mashed it a bit, but I still had aspirations for the chip.
The chip was DOA. No noticeable physical damage, but three different motherboards refused to even power on when the chip was inserted. He refuses to give me a refund, and ever since I told him the chip was DOA he doesn't even respond to my e-mails. He won't even refund the shipping charge....
For more details, send me an e-mail. I can forward the entire conversation we had.
Refund my money, seller, and I'll ask a site admin to remove the eval, but you put me through too much garbage to even let this slide with a Neutral as it is.
Response from killerkidI have refunded the money in full to this person. If you would like a paypal transaction id number feel free to contact me, and i will provide one, this negative eval should not be on here because i have refunded the money.December 22, 2004
