Review for user Xeon22 from TechnoButt

  • He sent me what he believed was an Abit NF7-S Rev2.0 and an Athlon Mobile 2400+ with "some wear on the core".

TechnoButt was the Seller on April 9, 2005 AnandTech

I got the package quickly and well packaged. For those who concern themselves with it, there is a smoker smell (not a bad thing, but just noted for the anal types). The board turned out to be an NF7-S Rev1.1 (different northbridge) and the chip had more edge damage that I was expecting. However, he was very reasonable and let me test out the combo for several days to see if it would do and offered to reduce the price a bit to make up for the wrong version of the motherboard (to avoid having to deal with who pays shipping and such, which is a real nuisance on a small transaction gone awry). In the end I'm more than satisfied with the price and the quality of the components (considering the price) and the care he took with handling what could have been an ugly situation.

He did ship first, and once we had an understanding and I tested the components, payment was promptly made via paypal.

Good trader, look for him to become a very established and trusted member of the community.
