  • SONY PSP with accessories and DOCK

Josh64FX was the Buyer on September 29, 2005 AnandTech

I sold a PSP to Edblor for $225 around the end of July...
Because he had good heat, I agreed to accept partial payment of $110.

He was in Canada and he told me that If the shipping cost was more than $7, he will pay the rest.. The cost was $12. So he owes me $115 + $5 for the shipping.

He received the PSP on 8/13/05. He told me that he got hit with Customs of $70. I think he is lying because I only insured the package for $200. I called UPS 2 days ago and they told me that he was charged ONLY $28.30. I also checked on the UPS website and it says $28.30... So i dont know who is lying here..

Its been a month and 7 days from the time he received his PSP and He still hasnt payed me... He is a great trader, Responds within 6 hrs, has a 300+ positive heat but he didnt keep up with his word of paying me... I have been literally begging him for the money, He gives me some BS excuse everytime I PM him..

I am leaving a NEGATIVE heat because he took more than a month to pay me the money , Gave me some BS excuses and I had to fight(Post on ATOT forums) to get my money!!

DONT EVER AGREE TO SHIP THE STUFF TO HIM FIRST.. He may have the best HEAT but HE DOES NOT KEEP UP HIS WORD to pay you back!!!!!

    Response from edblor
I take GREAT offense to being called a liar. It might be true that I was very late in making good on my end of the agreement, however my excuses were far from BS, and I find that comment equally as insulting.

Josh was not interested in anything but getting his money back (as is his right). I tried as best I could to make good, but sometimes things just don't work out as planned. Even though I ALWAYS responded quickly to his PMs, and I was very willing to work things out, Josh chose to take our matter to the community; this one point would makes me question his ethics.

I won't bore the Heat eval system with my personal problems, but I would only hope that in the future, Josh could be a little less anal when things don't go his way.

I won't ask that this negative be removed, as it really is warranted, however I would hope that future viewers of my heat take this 1 eval with a grain of salt.

1 eval does not make a trader and I still stand by my many positive evals, as well as my many positive experiences trading.

Regarding UPS and the $70.00 in charges; UPS collected $70.00 from me and that $70.00 included taxes, customs fees, and handling charges as well. It may not reflect on the UPS website what I actually paid to get the PSP from them, but I have the reciept if anyone is questioning my integrity.
