  • Traded 2 of my 36gb raptors for his 74gb raptor. We agreed to cross-ship.

    Cross-traded on January 25, 2006 AnandTech

He agreed to cross-ship (although hesistantly; pointing out the fact he has 100+ heatware than I.) We exchanged addresses the afternoon of 12/13, and I shipped my drive out the morning 12/15. Got a PM on the 18th with a deliv confirm # stating the drive shipped on the 17th. The drive showed up on the 22nd with a \'ship date\' of the 19th. I sent him a pm asking for an explanation - as it appears to me he waited to receive my drives before sending his out (on top of his hesistancy to cross-ship) He explained that the drives were missed by usps. He then shipped them express in hopes of me receiving the drives in time.
For one, the drive should have been mailed out by the 16th, at latest. Secondly, he shouldn\'t have told me they were shipped when they weren\'t.

Note that the drive worked perfectly.

    Response from byum
As posted in his heatware thread to me, I was a bit hesitant at first to ship out the drives as he had less than 10 heatware. However, upon our phone conversation, I decided to take the plunge and cross-ship. As for my drive arriving late, it was an honest mistake/mishap as my mailman forgot to pickup my package when I requested it. Upon realizing the mishap, I EXPRESS shipped the drive to make sure it didn\'t cause anymore delay. I explained the situation via PM but from the reply on heatware, he obviously doesn\'t believe in \"mishaps\" and is fixed on the fact that I was \"hesitant\". I will accept the Neutral eval as it was my responsibility to verify the drive shipped. Leaving a positive as he got the drives out on-time. I must add that it\'s unfortunate that he wouldn\'t give me the benefit of the doubt as I did for him when he asked to cross-ship with 9 positive heatware versus my 100+
