Review for user johndoe123 from MorbidSteve

  • I bought his TI-83 and TI-BA II for $30.

MorbidSteve was the Seller on March 1, 2006 AnandTech

I emailed him asking if either of them had scratches, and if the batteries in both were good. He said \"None of them have scratches on them. They both work GREAT. The batteries in the BA II are still good and i just put new batteries in the TI-83.\" First off, the BA II has a very slow response to key pushing (whether it\'s adding, subtracting, etc..) and they both have scratches on them, the BA II on the main screen, and the 83 on the cover and the rubber stopper things on the 83 are worn down, also the cover has been used to much, it doesn\'t hold on (it slides off easily). I am giving a neutral feedback because he didn\'t even take the time to consider what he was selling, and he didn\'t give an honest answer. Sorry. Otherwise, it was a pleasant transaction.

The batteries in the BA II Plus are good. As far as slow response, is it talking minutes to key pushing response and calculate? I used it before i sent it off and the reponse time was fine.
As far as scratches, you must have used a Microscope to find the scratches on the main screen or cover because there was none noticeable to my eye.
As far as the rubber stopper they were not worn down, it was normal use. The cover holds on fine. The cover supports the calculator perfectly fine.
