  I bought a case, usb cable, spare battery and new 2gb sd card for my canon SD800 camera, paid up front with paypal.

  He shipped promptly, well packed and communication has been excellent however the 2gb mem card wasn\'t in the box. He had put in a smaller sd card and usb cable as a freebie but I assumed he\'d just forgotten to put the 2gb card in. The box seemed in good shape with no obvious holes where anything could fall out and the other small items were all there. When I advised him that the card wasn\'t in with the rest of the items he advised me he was sure he\'d put it in and the extra items were a gift. I asked for a refund of the 18 dollars for the mem card but he said he was sure he\'d sent it and offered me a 50% refund for the missing item. This was unacceptable to me so I asked for the mods intervention and they looked into it and said we should solve it ourselves as its a standoff with him saying he sent it and me saying I never got it. Its not worth the effort to dispute through paypal for 9 bucks but I thought he\'d take responsibility for the item until it was in my hand.
  Luckily a samll item and amount but didn\'t think I\'d have to ask for a guaranteed delivery, lesson learned.
