Review for user SeanOMatic from playah

  • Asus Striker 2 Extreme Asus P55 MB MSI 890FXA GD70

playah was the Seller on November 4, 2010 HardForum

This is the worst trader I've ever dealt with in all of my transactions because of the lies, deception and lack of communication.

I feel like an idiot because I actually defended him at [H] forum b4 he was banned

I must take some of the blame because I wanted to believe him and he was very convincing.
Sean was selling hardware for very good prices, so low my gut told to take care so I did a test deal for an amount I could afford to lose, it worked out and I left a favorable review.

Then I purchased the Striker II and P55 mb on 11/05, on 11/08 he said he had shipped.
On 11/12 he said he hadn't shipped yet but could also sell me a MSI 890FXA-GD70 and ship them all together, so I bit.
On 11/24 said he had shipped everything, I ended up getting bare Gigabyte 890FXA-UD7, which I didn't want and he said it was a gift for the delay.
On 11/29 he was banned on [H] Forum for being a returning bad trader and he emailed me saying don't worry he would come through and make it all up
During the mail communications from 11/30 to 12/27 he was offering more hardware but I wasn't shelling out any more cash, he also several times told me he had shipped my items.
The last communication was on 12/27 where he said he would give me tracking when he got off work, haven't heard anything since.

He seemed like a great guy and I really did like him, but in the end this type of behavior is inexcusable, I should have filed a paypal dispute but I waited too long listening to excuses and promises so I am to blame as well

Not an exceptionally gifted con man but like they say there's a sucker born every minute

Well after a couple months of run around I finally got everything plus a few extra items for the long wait, Sean could be a good trader if he would do what he says he going to when he is supposed to

    Response from SeanOMatic
When this incident happened, I was in the process of leaving a job and moving. A lot had happened and it was just a rough patch. I made sure to get Playah everything he paid for and probably a couple of extra motherboards and hardware.
