Review for user GenTarkin from bobrownik

  • i7-920 cpu and ex58-ud3r motherboard

    bobrownik was the Seller on October 4, 2011 HardForum

    overhyped overclock, some problems with cpu power circuit and ahci,
    seller refused to take it back for full refund, also refused partial refund,
    deal with caution

    reply to the reply: none of my claims are false, i can prove it on video, if in your opinion the board is fine, why don't you take it and give me my money back?
    ==================================
    changed to neutral, because the main problem was my failing power supply...

    Response from GenTarkin
    First of all did not give a false representation, I stated what was achievable w/ the hardware I was using. Purchaser used different hardware and expected same results. There were very intricate things I had to tweak to achieve the OC's I did and they worked just fine. Purchaser never wanted to work the settings out with me.
    There are were no issues w/ the motherboard during my use. It never had AHCI problem, never hard cold boot issues. There is no failed power circuit for CPU.
    Those claims are simply false.
    I never guaranteed the OC, simple stated what was achievable.
    Purchaser even claimed a UD5 BIOS was installed when he got it, thats outrageous, I never loaded another motherboards BIOS onto it!
