Review for user ReaperX87 from Rapidfire48

  • I purchased an XFX 9800GT from Reaper.

Rapidfire48 was the Seller on December 18, 2011 techPowerUp!

I was under the assumption that the card was in working condition . I installed into 3 different pc's and it worked just once. I have since tried it in another pc and it does not boot the monitor. I brought this to his attention and when I said I was able to get it to work he responded with this, "So the card is working which means that it is not defective or anything like that, not to sound rude only way I would offer refunds is if it didnt work at all. but since it is working no refunds will be given, card works and is now in your set up." So basically the card powered the screen just once and is crap now. I am leaving negative feedback for the way he handled it and I believe he new the card had some issues... So thank You Reaper for the 15 minute warranty.
The card never really worked. I have no reason to lie about as I am not a scum like you. I have since offered to remove your negative rating if you remove mine to just forget this shitty transaction happened. All I can say is buyer beware there is know honesty in this man.

    Response from ReaperX87
For one Rapidfire this is something that you take the chance in when buying used parts, your response was as follows. (The card is working but it took installing it 3 times. On the third time it did not boot so I wiggled the dvi port on the card and it came on. I am going to try it on a few monitors and then i will let you know if it continues to boot or not. This is definitely something to do with the card.)

That card left my house working and you got it to work at your own house, so then something went wrong on your end, which I am not liable for.
