    I purchased a Verizon iPhone 4 from sdilley14 on December 13th. I paid via Amazon Payments, and was told that I would need to wait for the funds to clear to his checking account from Amazon as he has dealt with fraud in the past. I felt like that was fishy, but accepted. He contacts me again saying he will ship the phone on 12/21. That passes and I contact him on 12/22. Do not receive a reply until 12/24 saying the phone was shipped, sorry for the delay blah blah. I'm beginning to already worry. Phone arrives 12/27, power button nonfunctional. Contacted sdilley14 on 12/27 at 8:45 PM EST, he has signed onto [H] multiple times since that time and to date as of the time of this posting (1/3/2013 12:00 AM EST) has failed to respond to my inquiry. I had to take it up with my bank because if he was unwilling to respond to my negotiation regarding the power button I assumed he wouldn't like it if I asked for a refund, either. Exceedingly poor communication, do not deal with this person.

    I am taken back by how upset this buyer is. I will admit that the item took a couple days longer to get shipped than expected. We started negotiations on the item at least 2-3 weeks prior to making the actual transaction. I expressed that I wasn't in a rush to complete the transaction as I was waiting on a replacement phone and I was accomodating to giving him plenty of time to get the funds. I stated in our communications that I was requiring the funds to actually clear into my account before sending out the phone. So as far as the "delay" in our transaction, I respectfully disagree that there was any significant delay.

    As far as the issue with the power button and my "lack of response" when he tried messaging me about it. He is stating here that the power button was "non functional". In the message he sent me on [H] he stated that the button was sticky/non responsive and took more force than normal to work and didn't "click" like it normally does. I have never had an issue with the button. I was up front and honest about the rest of the phone and had NO reason to be dishonest about this. The only explanation that I can think of is that some small piece/part got jarred loose in shipping.

    And yes, he did send me a message right away in regards to this. I sent a message back that same day but, for whatever reason, the message did not go through. I must have closed the browser window before the message sent? In any case, I did try responding to his message, hoping to get this worked out. I was curious as to why he never responded to me or leave feedback after I sent that last message and now I know why...he never received my reply.

    I am terribly sorry it came down to leaving negative feedback and I wish we could have communicated better and found a reasonable solution to this.
