  • Never received $61 for 2 processors and heatsinks

SGSeeker was the Seller on September 6, 2002 AnandTech

After having no success contacting Mario for over a year now, I figure I may as well stick a negative up on heatware. A year and a half ago I sold Mario a couple celeron 366s with one alpha heatsink and one generic heatsink. After not receiving the money order and him trying again, with no luck, we agreed to do a wire transfer. After that I lost contact with him and haven't spoken to him since. Private messages on anandtech haven't done any good and he hasn't been on icq for some time. Calling his house never helped and I've lost his number since then. I doubt I'll ever see the $61 he owes me.

  • This is a followup of Mario's comment: "Dont know who this guy is but I have been a long time member, do not ever recall trading or buying anythin from SFSEEKER??"

I have been having problems with anandtech's forums for some time, my Anon4Life username quit letting me change any settings, post, and send private messages. Since I began going by a unique username (SGSeeker) everywhere else...pretty much anywhere that required an account, I decided that I'd create this new username on anadtech also. After a couple months without posting, this username also quit functioning. I haven't had a desire to bug the mods about info on this nick problem so I haven't. Sorry if you didn't recognize me, I didn't mention this username in the last eval.

To mario's credit, while we were still in connection with one another, he did state that he'd try to send the money order a couple more times. I don't know if this was true or not, but I never received them (think he retried twice). After talking about doing it through a wire transfer, I could no longer reach him. I no longer had his phone number, he wasn't responding to the email address he was using at the time(it looks like it has changed in his profile now), and with the anandtech issues I could no longer message him; this being after sending him numerous PMs continuously for a couple weeks (in his defense, I WILL state that he said he'd be out of town but didn't state for how long).

I just wish I would have had paypal back then, it would have made the transaction a lot easier if he too had an account(can't remember if he did/does).
