Crosstraded Tom an Armageddon DVD for a CRIMM and four thumbscrews.
Cross-traded on February 28, 2002 AnandTech
This was really a great trade and trader! Tom's a friendly guy to deal with, really down-to-earth. He even offered to ship first and some extra screws at no charge (his listing said 3 screws but offered 8 if I needed that many). And the package came very well packed in a couple of layers of bubblewrap, a little plastic bag for the screws, and a ton of styrofoam peanuts. Thanks for the outstanding trade, Tom!

Bought a AthlonXP CPU from George
crypticlogin was the Buyer on January 11, 2007 AnandTech
The product arrived very promptly and in good shape, but even better was his way of handling a shipping snafu. George always kept me in the loop with what was going on, and *that* is worth more than the cpu itself. Thanks George, and it was a pleasure.

Bought a Win98 SE OEM pack from Andres
crypticlogin was the Buyer on April 22, 2002 AnandTech
Great deal and great packaging. Andres posted this at a fair price and was willing to ship first. Mind you, this pack was just a CD in a jewel case and the COA/manual, but it all came *very* well packed in a box, generously padded with newspaper, and all of that in a larger box with even more newspaper. Nothing short of a conscious effort to destroy the contents would\'ve! :) Thanks Andres, and it was a pleasure.

Sold Ammar a Gravis GamePad Pro USB.
crypticlogin was the Seller on June 12, 2003 AnandTech
Abridged:
In the end, both sides received their side of the deal, but communication could've been better, and not too pleased to find payment was sent after was said. Rating is positive for completing the deal, but is borderline Neutral-Negative for the other things.
Great American Novel:
I responded to Ammar's WTB thread and after we agreed to a deal, I sent out the gamepad after the weekend. Shortly after, he let me know the MO didn't go out as planned that day, which happens so I was cool with it.
A few days later, I followed up since the Post Office listed the package as delivered -- I usually ask if it's arrived in good shape. I got no response even though Ammar had logged on, so I messaged him again the next day, this time also asking about the MO. He replied that the payment was sent but didn't receive the previous PM. Nothing was said about the gamepad.
Fast forward to 6/24, Ammar asks if I had received the money order yet. I said I hadn't, then asked how the MO was sent and, since I still hadn't heard about the gamepad, about that as well. I got no replies even though he'd been on daily over the next few days.
On 6/27, a money order came in the mail that was drawn 6/22 and postmarked 6/24, the day Ammar asked about it. I wasn't too pleased about this (especially after the silent treatment) and asked about this. He apologized for doing that and there were no excuses for it.
I think communication would've gone a long way since most traders are pretty understanding as long as both sides are kept in the loop. I'm giving Ammar a 'positive' since he pulled through eventually, but the execution needs some work. Thanks Ammar!June 12, 2003
