I bought a 128MB PC-143 "Mosel Vitelic" SDRAM module from Alex.
aa_koch was the Buyer on May 17, 2001 AnandTech
Alex responded to my thread on AnandTech, in which I was looking for a "Mosel Vitelic" stick with specific markings. He provided me with an estimate of international shipping cost, and I paid him soon after via PayPal. I received the RAM only four days after my payment, and I am happy to confirm that it's exactly the stuff that I was looking for. :) I'd be pleased to deal with him again.

I sold a (modified) Iomega Zip250 USB to Joe.
aa_koch was the Seller on June 7, 2001 AnandTech
Joe contacted me via PM to indicate his interest in my Iomega Zip250 USB, which I had someone modify to become "USB-powered." Understandably, he had some reservations about the drive's modifications, but as a result of some excellent and frequent communication via PM, we worked out these formalities in no-time. Joe is an extremely pleasant person to deal with, and I am glad to have "done business" with him.

Kyle (66)
I bought Civilization III from Kyle.
aa_koch was the Buyer on August 8, 2002 AnandTech
This one was short & sweet: I paid Kyle in advance for the CD-ROM, he shipped it and informed me of shipping cost afterwards. I then paid him for shipping, and the game arrived only a few days later. Dealing with people as nice and friendly as Kyle is what makes this trading business great. ;)

I purchased an AMD Athlon XP processor from Jack.
aa_koch was the Buyer on October 26, 2003 AnandTech
I made Jack an offer for the processor after reading his post on AT Forums, and after we had taken care of the details of the transaction, I PayPal'ed him the money. The chip arrived extremely well-packaged and in perfect condition (as advertised) soon after. Jack's an honest and reliable trader, just how I like 'em. :P

I sold the PC CD-ROM game "Soldier of Fortune" to Roy.
aa_koch was the Seller on June 23, 2001 AnandTech
Although it took quite a while before the game arrived, Roy was never worried and immediately got in touch with me when the disc finally landed in his mailbox. He's a very pleasant guy to deal with, and I look forward to working with him again.

I sent Wesley some older software titles @ shipping cost.
aa_koch was the Seller on January 26, 2001 AnandTech
It took Wesley only six minutes to respond to my thread, and we worked out the details of our transaction in much the same time frame. Because I was unable to accept a MO, we arranged for payment to run via a friend of mine. I sent the items in good faith, and Wesley turned out to be a man of his word. I would not hesitate dealing with him again, and you should not, either. :)

I purchased a 128MB "Mosel Vitelic" PC-133 SDRAM module from Peter.
aa_koch was the Buyer on January 20, 2001 AnandTech
I responded to Peter's post on AnandTech on January 20, but someone else had already beat me to it. I asked him to keep in touch in case the sale fell through, and it was within 24 hours that he told me that the person had backed out of the deal. As I was a newbie to the forum at the time, we agreed that I would pay in advance, and the module would be shipped upon receipt of the payment. To my surprise, it took only four days to arrive -- that's from New York to the Netherlands! It's been a pleasure dealing with Peter, and I'd recommend doing business with him anytime!

Sold Adam an old sound card & ditto video card @ shipping cost.
aa_koch was the Seller on January 26, 2001 AnandTech
Soon after I informed him of the shipping cost, Adam had already transferred the money to my PayPal account. He kept in touch throughout the entire transaction, and informed me soon after the items had arrived. It has been a pleasure doing business with him, and I would urge you do the same! :)

I traded a Athlon "Thunderbird" CPU and SuSE Linux DVD for a number of DC & PC games and a Dreamcast VGA adapter with Nathan.
Cross-traded on June 9, 2001 AnandTech
It took a while for the items to arrive (a problem with the post office beyond Nathan's control), but because he kept in touch with me and came up with several alternatives in case the package would never show up on my doorstep, I was never worried. Fortunately, patience paid off when I finally received the goods, which were packaged very well and in perfect condition. I would recommend doing business with Nathan to anyone, in particular because he didn't stick his head in the sand when things didn't go as planned. A+

I bought a Yamaha CRW2100E 16/10/40 from Jay.
aa_koch was the Buyer on January 30, 2001 AnandTech
I didn't notice Jay's thread until a few days after he had posted the item for sale, but I was surprised to see that no one had snatched it up at the time. I got in touch with him, and we quickly sorted out the details of our transaction. I sent him the money via PayPal, and he mailed out the drive shortly after. Upon receipt, I was impressed by the packaging. Having the package sent across half the globe, I was a little worried about it arriving safely. But with Jay's packing qualities, I don't think it would have hurt if the guys from the PO had used it as a football during their lunch break. Excellent price, excellent service, and excellent packaging -- three reasons I would not hesitate to deal with Jay again. Of course, the fact that I'll never ever have to buy peanuts again doesn't hurt, either. :)

nealh (160)
I've bought from and traded with Neal on several occasions, and he has always delivered on his promise. Additionally, he's gone to greath lenghts more than once in tracking down a particular piece of hardware or software that I was looking for, which shows what a great character he is.
aa_koch was the Buyer on November 18, 2000 Other/Unknown
A+, no question about it.

I purchased two (2) Linksys NICs from Matt.
aa_koch was the Buyer on July 27, 2002 AnandTech
I paid Matt for the NICs, and he was kind enough to allow me to pay for the cost of shipping afterwards (this makes shipping abroad much easier, because you don't have to "guess" how much it will cost). I received the cards only four days later; pretty impressive if you consider that they had to travel halfway around the globe. Great trading skills and good communication from start to finish make this guy an exemplary trader in my book! :)

I sold a Creative Labs Live!Drive IR to Matt.
aa_koch was the Seller on January 26, 2001 AnandTech
My first sale on AnandTech, I did not expect this to go as smooth as it did. We both had no real references to speak of at the time, but Matt did not make it a problem. Soon after I told him the original buyer had backed out, I got a notice from PayPal that his payment was received. He kept in touch with me throughout the entire transaction, and I would recommend dealing with him to anyone.

I traded and purchased an XBOX DVD Movie Playback Kit, Training Day (DVD) and Saving Private Ryan (DVD) from Chris for Dead or Alive 3 (XBOX), Project Gotham Racing (XBOX) and some cash.
Cross-traded on July 24, 2002 AnandTech
Chris contacted me about trading my copy of Dead or Alive 3 for his sealed copy of Training Day. After we had exchanged a few PMs, I asked him whether he'd consider buying me another DVD, since this would have no effect on the cost of shipping to the Netherlands. Not only did he go out to get me a second DVD, but he actually went to several stores just to make sure that I would get the best deal possible. On top of that, he helped me acquire an XBOX DVD Movie Playback Kit, which I had been trying to get my hands on for quite a while. For going above and beyond a trader's call of duty, I commend him. A+, as they say -- without a doubt.

I sold Unreal Tournament for Sega Dreamcast to Dennis.
aa_koch was the Seller on March 22, 2002 AnandTech
Despite my offering to ship in advance, Dennis paid me immediately after we had agreed upon a price for the software. He PM-ed me soon after the game had arrived, which I appreciate very much -- thanks!

I purchased four Mosel Vitelic PC-133 SDRAM modules from Rick.
aa_koch was the Buyer on September 4, 2002 AnandTech
I contacted Rick about the RAM and asked him if he could check the markings for me. He got back to me the same day and provided me with all the necessary details. Because I am in the Netherlands, it is impossible for me to send money orders. Fortunately, Rick decided to open an account with PayPal so that I could pay him (my only means of payment except for cash), for which I am very appreciative. The RAM got to me in a matter of days, and the modules were very well packaged. Two thumbs up! :)

vinccic (3)
I sold the PC CD-ROM game "Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire" to Vinccic.
aa_koch was the Seller on June 24, 2001 AnandTech
Vinccic got in touch with me via PM, and we came to an agreement regarding the sale of the above-mentioned game soon after. At the time she was having some trouble setting up her PayPal account, so it took a day or two before we were able to confirm the deal. When she told me that she had to wait for a confirmation number to show up on her CC statement, I decided to go ahead and send her the CD anyway, even though she didn't have any HeatWare at the time. The fact that I received her payment the next day, is mark of her integrity. Not only is she a very nice person to deal with, but also a welcome addition to the AnandTech community.

I purchased a Plantronics DSP-500 headset.
aa_koch was the Buyer on October 6, 2001 AnandTech
I asked 'Babu' to ship in advance so that I could pay him the amount in full in a single transaction, and he kindly agreed. I PayPal'ed him the money immediately after, and I received the headset in less than two weeks' time. It has already been put to some good use, and it's excellent!

I bought two sticks of 128MB PC-143 "Mosel Vitelic" SDRAM from Terry.
aa_koch was the Buyer on March 9, 2001 AnandTech
I responded to Terry's "For Sale" post on the AnandTech Forum. He didn't make it a problem that the modules had to be shipped to Europe, and provided me with an accurate estimate of shipping cost immediately after my first contact. It didn't take long for the formalities of our transaction to be worked out, and soon after I sent payment he shipped the modules. I received them in good order within 6 business days, and can wholeheartedly say that it has been a pleasure to work with Terry on this deal.

MrHans (188)
I purchased a Belkin NIC from Hans.
aa_koch was the Buyer on April 17, 2002 AnandTech
No problems whatsoever - Hans was kind enough to check with a clerk at the PO first to determine the cost of shipping, and shipped the NIC immediately after he confirmed the total cost with me. I received the new-in-box NIC in less than a week (which is pretty good considering it traveled halfway around the globe :)).

aa_koch was the Seller on March 30, 2002 AnandTech
