The drive arrived pretty quickly in decent packaging. However, the drive made some noise and would not detect on any master/slave/cable select on either position on two different controllers. We agree that something must have happened during shipping. S8N gave me a few choices about how to proceed in a professional manner. We opted to do a refund for the purchase price via paypal.

As I always say, it's not wether you encounter problems or not that determines how good of a trader you are.. it's how you deal with the problem when they occur. S8N gets A+ for resolving this to more than my satisfaction!

I didn\\\'t have a way to test the SDR ram, so I sent him a lot of extra. Apparently there was a problem with part of it, but he\\\'s a 1st class trader and realized I was sening memory as-is. The trade went in both directions without a hitch (except for some of the SDR didn\\\'t work properly). He is satisfied and we are swapping heat. I\\\'m going to try and pack up a extra s370 cpu I have laying around and get it out to him to make up for the bad ram (but he didn\\\'t require this). He wasn\'t willing to ship first, but since he had reviews from people I know, I took a chance and paid up front. There was some drama about him needing to delay shipping while he tested his system with the ram (replacement ram not working or some such). He refunded the payment. Later it became available again, so he contacted me and I paid again and received the ram well packaged and in good time. I don\'t hold the drama against him (as I\'ve been there), and he didn\'t BS me, great communication and ultimately a good deal for a patient buyer, so I give thumbs up! Would work with him again.
