I was the buyer of a N64 sign he was selling. It did not go well at all. I would avoid dealing with him and DO NOT send him paypal as friends and family.
minus_all was the Buyer on June 6, 2018 Facebook
Chris sold me a sign, I paid, via paypal (friends and family) for just over $400. The sign arrived damaged, it sounded like 10 pounds of shattered glass in a box. The postman asked what I wanted to do since it was clearly not right. I decided to not refuse it. I knew chris bought insurance on it so I contacted him right away and let him know what happened. He said to take pics. There was glass everywhere. Sent pics over right away, he opened the claim. I went to see how much to repair the sign. Overall about $100 to reprint the one insert on translite that got damaged from the broken glass shards from the broken bulbs (that he didn't secure) and replace bulbs, etc. Not to bad I thought considering the damage. I let him know. Thats all I asked for, enough to repair the sign. That was June 15th. Well that was about it from him, no contact since, other then when I asked for a update on july 2, he got back on the 3rd and said he will check on the claim. I have contacted numerous times since then on july 4th, 13th, 16th, 17th and today the 18th... with no reply. I can see he is seeing my messages on facebook messenger. He is just straight up ignoring me. So he got the $400 for the sign, and all of the insurance money too. I am left with a broken sign. All I was asking for was enough to repair the sign. I would have also gladly returned the sign for a full refund but that was never a option. I wish I would have just refused the sign at delivery and also had not paid friends and family paypal and avoided this month long headache. I was not asking for much here. But this is a really, really poor way to treat someone who has done NOTHING wrong. I personally couldn't imagine doing this to someone. My advice is dont deal with him, and if you do, DONT send the paypal as friends and family. Make sure you have some recourse.
