Payment was sent promptly once we settled on a price. Unfortunately, the monitor arrived with a small defect but he was very agreeable and patient while I attempted to get the issue resolved through forum advice and by involving the manufacturer. In the end he suggested that he keep the monitor and receive a partial refund, which was the easiest solution for both of us. Sometimes things happen in these transactions that are beyond our control, and I cannot overstate how he handled the matter with professionalism and courtesy. I would gladly deal with him again if the opportunity arises.

I thought that I was fine prior to a few hours ago, but then I stumbled upon rkatapt's post in the Free Steam keys thread and saw that he was giving away some extra keys. It was then that my day was wrecked, as I knew that I HAD to have that code to help complete my RF game collection. After a short while (very tense I may add; I don't think I have any fingernails left) he replied to my PM and stated that he had an available code. "This better not be a game!", I thought. Well, to clarify, I hoped that it was for a game...but hoped that rkatapt wasn't playing some sort of cruel joke on me. I mean, we've known each other on the [H] for years, man! And we both ride motorcycles, so there's that brotherly bond as well. I typed in the Steam key, drenched with sweat, fingers trembling. Validated! Whew. Faith in humanity was not lost today.
