Purchased an Audigy Platinum late last year, and waited an extremely long time for it as well.

After having waited an extended period of time for the Audigy Platinum, I found that I didn't need it after all, and sold it to another member. I assumed that all of the pieces were there, as there was no indication from lordusar (*aka Antioch) that anything was missing. Well there was something missing, namely all of the cables that are needed to hook the live drive up with the sound card itself.

Trying to do the right thing, I told the individual to whom I'd sold the Audigy Plat. to that I'd try and contact the original owner of it [read: lordusar] and have him send the cables to me. When I finally did get ahold of lordusar he told me that he'd send the cables immediately; shipping them to the person that now owned the Audigy Plat. Well, weeks went by and there was no sign of the cables, or even an attempt at communication from lordusar. So I was then forced to have to pay for the cables so that the person that I sold it to could have a complete product, and so that I could maintain good references and not screw someone over.

Months past, and still no communication from lordusar. I finally attempted to PM him at [H]OCP Forums telling him that in order to avoid negative feed back, I'd need some sort of reinbursement. But his PM box was full, so I was forced to post the warning to him in a thread of his. But oh no, it gets even better! He replies to my post with something along the lines of "It's not my fault, the Audigy Platinum was sold AS IS" (Which is completely untrue!). And then had one of the MODs simply remove my post as if nothing had ever happened! Well here it is, a nice fat NEGATIVE!
