Two used Palm m100 PDAs. One was fine and the other supposedly had some digitizer issues.
hkklife was the Buyer on July 10, 2005 AnandTech
ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST and unreliable trader. On 6/10/2005 I sent him $17 via PP for the two Palms. He said he was heading to Canada to go fishing and he'd get them sent out the coming week. I never heard from him again, he never PM'd me back, the units (obviously) have never shown up, and the polite request I made for a refund was ignored. These units were going to be gifts to relatives who were uncertain about PDAs and wanted something cheap to learn on, so I was counting on the stuff to arrive in a timely manner.
DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY!
Response from zasteegThis user and I have fixed the problem. I was going threw this transaction in the middle of two trips, which was my fault. I have reimbersed him the money, as well as sent the PDA at my expense. For more information contact myself or him.July 10, 2005

On October 15th I bought a Pentium 4 630 3.2 GHZ CPU from Jamie. He indicated that it was the bare CPU shipped with the Intel OEM HSF. The next day he confirmed receipt of the payment and that he\'d be sending the CPU out the following day (the 17th). I sent a followup PM asking him to please provide tracking information which he never responded to. After hearing nothing for over a week, I PM\'d Jamie on Oct 24th but received no response. I PM\'d him again on the 26th inquiring about the lack of communication and still no tracking # from him. He finally replied via e-mail on the 27th and stated that the CPU had been shipped earlier that week. So that was 4 attempts I made at communication between the 16th and 26th before I finally heard something from him. On the 30th I received another e-mail with the tracking number from Canada Post (which was not valid). He also advised within this e-mail that he was going to refund me my shipping cost ($10). I then received my PPrefund on November 1st and a final e-mail from him apologizing for the delay and asking if there was anything else he could to do help rectify the situation. I told him that since I had been more than patient and understanding in waiting almost a month for my CPU to arrive, I\'d appreciate a small refund of an amount at his discretion from the purchase price of the CPU ($5 would have been fine) just as a goodwill gesture. I felt this was a reasonable request as I had to buy a cheap Celeron as an interim CPU while awaiting the arrival of his CPU just so I could finish off building the system I was working on. I never heard back from Jamie via PM or e-mail nor did I receive a refund of the purchase price of the CPU. I indicated very clearly that I was still willin to leave him positive Heatware if he would just talk to me and try to work something out one way or another (especially since he made the offer in the first place). Since he chose not to heed my request, I feel that his offer to make things right was hollow and insincere. The CPU finally arrivd on November 8th and the date on the package was November 1st, not the October30th (or earlier) that he claimed was the original shipment date. To be intentionally given a false shipment date really irked me and wiped out the last bit of goodwill I might have had towards this deal. To add to my frustration, while the CPU itself was well-packed, the included HSF was not an Intel OEM version as he had stated but instead what appears to be an HP OEM. This does not use the screw-down spring loaded connectors but appears to attach to a backplate on the underside of the motherboard. No backplate was included in the packaging nor did he ever indicate that this was not the standard Intel HSF design. So the included HSF is unusable in its current form and I am out another $20 in having to buy an aftermarket cooler for this processor since the one Jamie sent me is unattachable.
hkklife was the Buyer on November 18, 2007 AnandTech
The combination of poor communication, extreme delays in shipping my item and a false representation of the shipment date & cooler included with the CPU leaves me with no desire to trade with Jamie again. I do appreciate the fact that he did at least refund the shipping cost, so because of that and the fact that the proper CPU did arrive intact I am leving neutral feedback and a detailed summary of the events that turned a small shipping delay into a very unpleasant purchasing experience. Had had just told me on the 16th that unforseen circumstances would have delayed his shipping the CPU I\'d have been more than understanding. And had he contacted me on the 28th and said the CPU hadn\'t yet shipped I\'d probably have just asked him to refund my money and called it a day. But now I wish I had just bought a new CPU outright instead of wasting nearly a month for this one to arrive then having to go through the aggravation of purchasing a functional HSF.
I would hope Jamie learns a lesson from this deal that he must communicate HONESTLY and FREQUENTLY with his customers in the future and that informing someone of bad news is better than leaving them completely in the dark.November 19, 2007

Intel P4 Prescott 2.4A
hkklife was the Buyer on September 9, 2004 AnandTech
Item took a great deal longer to arrive (he said it would go out 2-day) than originally anticipated but I won't hold that against Christopher b/c it was shipped via the USPS.
While there are apparently no issues with the CPU (I am not able to test it now, just inspect the pins for physical damage), I was disappointed to see the renention brackets were missing from the Intel OEM fan. In addition, one of the brackets holding the fan onto the heatsink was broken off and rattling around in the plastic shell so the stock fan would be pretty much useless even if it had the clips.
A good price on a good CPU but I wish he had notified me ahead of time that I was going to need to buy another HSF ahead of time as the thread description made it sound like everything was in perfect condition. Or knocking a few $ off of the asking price would have been sufficient as well.
I was looking for a quick turn-around as soon as I received the CPU as it's going into a machine for someone else for a time-crucial job but now I'm stuck waiting on a replacement Vantec to arrive in the mail and cannot use the CPU without cooling.September 9, 2004

Huntress (208)
I sold Huntress a Linksys 802.11g wi-fi range extender
hkklife was the Seller on July 25, 2007 AnandTech
This was a deal that was all set to be a typically smooth one until I had several urgent personal/family matters come up. This delayed my shipping not once but twice! Diana was very understanding and stayed in constant contact throughout the deal. I offered her a refund and on the 2nd offer, she accepted. Thankfully all is back to normal and the deal worked out well in the end for both parties. She was very easy to work with in what was admittedly a difficult time for me personally.
Definitely a nice gal to do business with! A++July 26, 2007
