I sent Adam a Pentium III-S 1.4Ghz Tualatin CPU in exchange for 3x DDR2 modules and a black FDD.

It turned out that 2 of the 3 DDR2 modules Adam sent me were bad (not recognize and/or couldn\'t pass a memtest86 run). Fortunately the 3rd module (512mb) was OK.

I notfied Adam of the problem and after a few days he got a replacement 512mb stick sent out to me and all was well.

While communication could have been a bit faster while trying to resolve the problem, I am glad to say that Adam was ultimately as good as his word. Everything turned out well in the end for both parties and each of us had something the other was looking for.

I\'d gladly do busines with him again anytime.

Great day all around. An extremely friendly buyer who notified me immediately that there may be a slight delay in sending payment, but it was still sent promptly. Stayed in touch throughout the process and was always friendly & courteous. We almost had a hiccup by USPS during the delivery process but everything worked out fine for everyone. The unit arrived exactly as described in its original packaging and was packaged very well. Unfortunately, the unit immediately began exhibiting some video-out and startup problems. We exchanged numerous PMs and tried to troubleshoot the problem. Laurent was very understanding while I spent a great deal of time trying to diagnose the problem and try the PS3 on various TVs and swapped out the hard drive etc.

We finally agreed that the unit had a hardware flaw and would need to be RMA\'d to Sony. He offered a refund and I decided to keep GTA4 since it\'s a great game. I sent the PS3 back to him and he promptly gave me my refund. I have every reason to believe he had no knowledge of the PS3\'s problems when we did the original deal and I totally understand that things just sometimes go sour.

Overall we made the best we could out of an unfortunate situation that is no one\'s fault and Laurentwas a totally straight up gentleman the entire time. Hopefully we can do another deal together again in the near future!
