SuperHonky (3)
Gave him goods for shipping cost only
Cross-traded on November 21, 2004 AnandTech
Has totally backed out on a mere $4.30 shipping after sending him some nice stuff for free. He claims to have not received, USPS disagrees. He just up and stops communicating and gets lippy when I insist the lines of communication improve.
Will file with USPS for a lost or stolen package.
This isn't about the $4.30, it's about a troll.
Response from SuperHonkyIf I never received the package why should I pay for it? He has not shown any proof where USPS says it was actually delivered to me. My apartment manager may have received it but it has not been turned over to me because they can not find it. This "nice stuff" I was supposed to recive was two burnt CDRs and USB/Firewire adpater for an Antec case...not a big loss if it doesn't show up.November 21, 2004

ThRoNkA (80)
Attempted to sell Radeon 7500 64MB DDR AGP & 12X DVD drive in XPC's trader thread. Payment was never received, though excuses and a threat to challenge negative heat were.
SiliconJon was the Seller on October 29, 2005 Other/Unknown
Payment was claimed to be first sent of Oct 7th. This attempt was claimed returned undeliverable the next Friday. Despite my second request to send payment with delivery confirmation Thronka claims to have sent the payment again with the return envelope from the first attempt without DC. I've received no payment nor any proof of why it may be so. I have received his claiming it to be "quarky" that I have not received it yet since he claims everyone else he sends payment to has no problems. A bit of an attempt to turn the problem around on me I feel.
What I'm getting are a lot of excuses. I think it's time you stop trading if you're not going to be responsible enough to follow through with your word nor accountable enough to fess up to your own irresponsibility.
Response from ThRoNkAI was in the process of finding out what the money order issue was. USPS showed money order was cashed, but not by above said seller.
If he would of kept in contact with me instead of saying I am an irresponsible seller, I would of used paypal and gotten the deal done with. I feel this negative feedback was not needed and could of been resolved.October 30, 2005

ATHLONXP2600+ (3)
I purchased: 2 PII CPU's, 1 TNT2 AGP, and 1 370 HS/F
SiliconJon was the Buyer on November 16, 2004 ResellerRatings
The package was improperly shipped. The items were loose in the box, shaking around upon arrival. There was no padding. One of the processors had been butchered physically. Though it may have still worked, I was not going to test it in my systems due to its physical condition. He also changed his original thread to remove the fan from that same processor after the transaction was completed (and the processor arrived without the fan that was stated as included in the original thread).
Though this trader did refund my money, these mistakes could have easily been avoided. Perhaps I shouldn't, but I will leave it as neutral since I did receive a refund for the parts that were damaged. This will be my first neutral rating for anyone thus far.November 16, 2004

|<I||er deal from a |<i||ernoodle. All's well that ends well. I was a little concerned about the deal at first, as communication was a little intermittent. But the man was quite busy, and came through for me just fine. Would deal with again.

Sold: 1 PCI ATA100 card Also purchased back that same card.
SiliconJon was the Seller on November 16, 2004 ResellerRatings
Our communications were a bit difficult at first, for reasons I don't know. But we hammered out the deal and completed the transaction effectively. The ATA card was unable to perform for Gareth in the manner for which it performed for myself. In fact, it wouldn't at all for Gareth. Though he did test the card in another computer and it worked fine in that PC, I purchased the item back as I not only did not want a buyer stuck with an item that would not work for them, but I also happened to develop the need for this item again shortly after the sale. So it all worked out great. Thank you Gareth for taking a few bucks worth the shipping off the refund price, I really appreciate that.

Took quite a while to get. I was getting a little aggrivated at how long it was taking to ship my item (over two weeks). But all that aggrivation went away when I received my new toy, and remembered how good a deal it was.
Thanks,
