  • I got a couple of PC games from him for $12.

amb3cog was the Buyer on January 18, 2000 AnandTech

Very easy going trader. He sent the games out before I had sent the payment. We tried without success to have him register for Paypal under my name. Because of this he ended up waiting longer than he should have for payment. He never once complained, and was very patient throughout. I felt so bad about it, that I just sent him a money order for $15, instead of the $12 we originally agreed upon. I would not think twice about dealing with this trader in the future, and neither should anyone else.

  • I bought two 128Mb sticks of PC 150 Step Thermodynamics memory.

amb3cog was the Buyer on April 13, 2000 AnandTech

This wasn't a nomal deal. Blain was buying himself a OC'ed CPU from Step Thermodynamics. When you buy a cpu from them. You are given the opportunity to buy up to 4 sticks of memory at their cost. He didn't need any himself, but was kind enough to ask if anyone on Anand wanted any. I jumped at the chance, because this stuff is guaranteed to run at 150Mhz minimum, and is Athlon compatible. He even tested them out with a testing program, before he accepted payment.
Blain is what it's all about when it comes to trading. He went out of his way, put up his own money, and would only put his name behind the deal after he tested a brand new product. If you have trouble trusting this guy. You are way too paranoid to be trading over the internet, and should go buy your stuff at CompUSA. A+++++++++++++

  • Bought a copy of the Matrix on VHS for $9

amb3cog was the Buyer on February 5, 2000 AnandTech

I bought it on a Sunday morning. He shipped it out first thing Monday. It arrived on Wednesday. It was sealed just as he described it. Bill was extremely polite, and easy to do business with. I will not hesitate to do another deal with this trader, and neither should you.

  • I bought a 16Mb Banshee card for $35.

amb3cog was the Buyer on February 6, 2000 AGN

I paid for the card via Paypal. He sent it out the next day. I got it 2 days later. He was very polite and helpful in all his emails, and he packed the card well. Also, all the software, and even the manual was included. What more can you ask for? Anime is a very good trader.

  • I got in on a group buy (15 people) for some Voodoo5 5500's.

amb3cog was the Buyer on July 25, 2000 AGN

I love dealing with this guy. It's our second trade, and I hope there are more to come. Jaun set it up so 15 of us lucky BBS'ers could get these cards for a great price. I'm not sure if you've ever done this much mailing, or not, but I tell you. It's a lot of work. For this effort, and coming through with this much cash involved. You just know he's a good guy. This guy can be trusted, and that is what matters most in online trading IMO. A ++++++++

  • Traded an Iwill 810e mobo, and some cash for his Abit ZM6, Celeron 400, and heatsink/fan.

  • I bought some PIII stickers from him.

amb3cog was the Buyer on July 25, 2000 AGN

Great guy. He wanted a SASE, but was willing to take an extra buck in Paypal instead. Since I'm lazy, I was quite happy with this. He was even nice enough to throw in an extra Celeron sticker for the bubble. My roommate will be happy to get this, when he gets home from vacation. Thanks again. :)

  • I sold Josh a bunch of car stereo stuff.

amb3cog was the Seller on March 9, 2000 AGN

Josh contacted me about the stuff, paypal'ed me the dough, and was very patient about me shipping on my day off. Josh is a great guy to deal with. He's quick with the emails, and the payment. I would gladly buy or sell with him again. No worries here. A+++++++

    Cross-traded on December 14, 2001 AnandTech

  • Bought a set of FPS 1000 speakers from him.

amb3cog was the Buyer on July 30, 2000 AGN

What a great guy. I wasn't worried about dealing with him at all, since he came highly recommended by Skeeter. I wasn't dissapointed. The speakers work great, he shipped em in the original box (i.e. well packed) in a timely fashion, and was very concerned that I was happy with the trade. Don't hessitate. Warpath will keep his end of the bargain. :) A+++++++++

  • Traded his DC stuffs, for my infamous Iomega 12/10/32 Burproof CD-RW.

    Cross-traded on January 8, 2001 AnandTech

This was a big trade, since it involved a lot of different things, for my burner. All I have to say is that he came through like a charm. He said a controller was new. It was brand new, and still in the wrapper. He said a game was mint, and it was beyond mint. Great guy all around IMO. He, and I both went out of our ways to make sure the other was happy. Just like it should be done. Great trader IMO. A+++++++ :)

    January 8, 2001

  • I bought an Asus K7V from him.

amb3cog was the Buyer on August 4, 2000 AGN

Great guy all around. I needed it in a hurry, and he sent it out first thing on a Saturday morning for me. He also didn't have a problem waiting for me to send the MO on Monday. He also packed the heck out of it, and threw in all of the original goodies which I didn't expect. His price was more then fair too. I highly recommend this trader, and look forward to another trade with him. A++++++++++

amb3cog was the Buyer on January 11, 2001 AnandTech

  • Sold Johhnie a mobo/cpu combo.

amb3cog was the Buyer on February 7, 2002 AnandTech

As usual I did my best to make Johnnie xtra happy. Why? Cause he's one of, if not the best around, and will remember nice gestures (i.e. he give a crap ;) ).
Thanks again Johnnie, as usual, can't wait till next time. :)

    February 7, 2002

  • Sold LennyZ a retail 1Ghz PIII flip chip.

amb3cog was the Seller on April 13, 2001 AnandTech

LennyZ contacted me on Saturday morning, and offered Paypal if I could ship same day. I did, he sent the cash, and it arrived on Monday. He was very happy with it, as was I with the trade. Great guy to deal with. Easygoing, polite, and nice to talk with. It would be my pleasure to trade with LennyZ again. :)

  • I bought 10 DVD's from him.

amb3cog was the Buyer on April 14, 2000 AGN

I sent him a MO the same day he sent me the movies. We both got our stuff in 2 days. He packed em extremely well. Even put a little piece of bubblewrap on top of each disc to make sure they didn't move around. They were all in mint shape. I couldn't be happier with a trade than this. VidmanII is one of the great ones.

    April 14, 2000

  • Sold him 2 DVD movies.

amb3cog was the Seller on July 24, 2000 AGN

I sent out the movies. He sent out the MO. He insisted on using Priority w/ DC for the MO. Which I said was overkill for such a small amount, but he insisted. This tells me that he wants all his trades to go smoothly. Which also tells me he's an honest, and trustworthy guy. I liked dealing with him a lot. A really nice guy IMO. Go ahead he'll take care of ya. :) A++++++++

  • I bought a Live Value from him.

amb3cog was the Buyer on July 9, 2000 AnandTech

Nice quick transaction. I sent the dough via Paypal, and had the card in my hands within three days. It made me extremely happy too, because the only thing holding me back from a working system was my MX300. I installed the live, and was all set. A great guy to deal with. Very accommodating, and understanding. I would trade again in a heartbeat. A++++++
