He admitted his mistake in hastily packing the drives, apologized, and gave me a full refund. Everybody makes mistakes, and I think he did enough to fully remedy his. I think he learned the lesson and will pack more carefully in the future.

On my end, I got a free working drive, so I am not unhappy. I would deal with him again in the future.

When I got the package, I saw that there was a hole in the side [shipping damage] out of which the battery seems to have slipped out. Geez, I guess these things happen. I contacted the seller and provided a pic as soon as I could.

He handled the misfortune in a very mature way by giving me a refund after inquiring at the post office (I told him right away that I was not in a hurry). Great trader with good integrity. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

Seems like the first package he sent me got lost.

I got a second one after about a month, with most of my SDRAM back.

So, I had to wait a month but I did get a stick 512MB stick of DDR for a single stick of 128MB SDRAM, in effect :)

Overall, this was a good deal for me since I was not in a hurry.

Overall, a smooth transaction. He sent me two boards to be fixed but one was toast. I used the parts from the toast board to fix my friend\'s broken board of same make / model. Hence, I gave him the mobo my friend was using.
