2 sticks of 256mb DDR
Ktechster was the Buyer on December 12, 2004 AnandTech
I expressed my need for needing the ram urgently and agreed to paypal quickly if he agreed to ship out on designated date, which he did. About a week later I got the package, only to find out it was a 'wrong item'. After contacting him, a day later he responds to say for me to ship to the other guy, and he will 'ask' the other person to ship the ram to me.
What bothers me most is even though he shipped a tad bit late to me, (shipping agreement was on December 9th) after receiving the wrong 'item' (14th), The ram wasn't even technically shipped out. According to postage mark and Delivery confirmation, package was physically enroute on December 16th to the other party, AFTER I contacted him beforehand. I contacted him on the 15th, saying I have a wrong item, on the 16th ram was shipped to OTHER party. Seems to make the story more legible, he shipped to other party instead of me, even though I contacted him before his late shipping to the other party of MY ram.
The whole experience does not smell right. Bottom line, I am not angry. A bit upset cause I expressed I needed the ram urgently and nothing went as agreed. It took delays, and ultimately received the ram on the 24th of December.
I was not truly happy with this experience. Regardless if this was a 'mistake', some evidence speaks for itself. I cannot leave positive, and wont leave negative. However I will leave a neutral and will warn others if you make an agreement, please make sure he keeps his end of the deal. Any more information on this can be viewed on the anandtech thread I posted in this matter.
Response from razor2025Wow.. talk about being a unreasonable guy...
For one thing, shipping a day or two later is NOT that big of a deal. People have LIFE. I can only goto the post office when I can. As for shipping the item to wrong location, it was honest mistake and common one at selling things online. I'm sure anyone who has traded the amount I have, have done things such as mixing up shipping labels. Regardless, I've already refunded shipping charges to Ktechster, so I don't see why he HAD to leave a neutral and start a thread on FS/FT trying to damage my reputation out of this small incident.
