We exchanged quite a few emails to make sure it would work with what I already had. Once we decided it would, the deal went real quick. Made it to the post office quick, and a great price too.

He had a fan controller up for sale, I bought it. It was for $10 shipped. Through email, I agreed to buy, and then I received a Money Request from Paypal for $15. In the comment box it said item shipped today! Well, I felt a little uneasy. It wasn't the price I had thought I had agreed on, we hadn't agreed on shipment before payment. I didn't expect it to be shipped yet, and he didn't have any refs at the time.
I expressed my concerns through email, he understood. I said I'd meet him halfway on shipping cost if I could wait till it showed up. It did show up a few days later and I met him halfway.

In the end he was more than willing to work with me on the mis-stated price and my other concerns. He said the mix-up was his fault as he should have said "$10+shipping". Understandable. Just a lesson learned
