DyDx (8)
Sold an EVGA nVidia GTX650Ti I was no longer using due to retiring the computer it was in. He was hesitant to buy at first, but I told him I'd hold the money until he had a chance to install and test it. He agreed, about a week later he has installed it. Sounds like it works from the Positive eval I have gotten! Would definitely try to assuage any concerns before a deal regardless of any money changing hands. And glad I did do this deal with DyDx. Looking forward to any other transactions!

Due to several factors, the card has been basically sitting around my office at work (along with all the other derelict parts). I had no real way to test the card, even with two motherboards that can comfortably accommodate it.
Glad it worked out in the end, though!February 18, 2016

Bought two old (mid-90s) Compaq laptops from Mike here. They were in various states of disrepair, possibly broken beyond fixing. Took a bit to get USPS to take the box, which was understandable, given the size of the box that eventually came to me!

Very well-packed, pretty communicative, even a shade of nostalgia shared. Would deal with again any time!

Retrospekt (14)
Bought an older Swatch Irony watch from Retro here. Took a bit for me to get the money, and a bit for him to ship it, but it was all good when it got here. Great communication, great trader!

A note on the battery, it\'s not a 394 as we both though, but a 395. I saw a bunch of those at the places I went looking for a 394, but thought \'That can\'t be it...\'
Finally went to a jeweler at the mall, and got the right battery. Cost a little more than I would have liked, but it\'s working fine now!August 24, 2007

A little slow at shipping, but I knew he was going out of town for a while. Got here quite well packaged; a little too much paper, though ;)

Tegid (2)
After quite a bit of back-and-forthing on the details, Tegid bought a couple older, well-used (but still 95% functional!) wireless Xbox 360 controllers.
JTD121 was the Seller on March 3, 2016 ArsTechnica
Clearly talkative, and well-versed in the haggling, prompt payment once all details were settled.
Also updated me after they arrived, with implications of some tear downs of the controllers to mend their internals.April 19, 2016

mkst (74)
Sold two Asus motherboards (P8P67 PRO & P8Z77-V LK) that I had given up on trying to make work. They look to work on his end, which is great! A bit late, but better than never!
JTD121 was the Seller on March 7, 2016 ArsTechnica
Very talkative, prompt payment once we got to a number we could both agree on. Wouldn't take a separate mailed-out freebie for some reason, but that's not a negative!

rafadavidc (37)
Bought a Bag o' RAM from rafadavidc. All DDR-based (1-3), all were working when pulled. I trust the man to his word. Was straightforward and communicative, even after the transaction. Would definitely deal with again!
JTD121 was the Buyer on April 13, 2016 ArsTechnica
Gave me a thorough history on when and where the sticks came from, which was neat. I trust they will all work when their time comes to be pushed into service!

That's just the shipping! That's all I asked! Asked a bunch of questions, as expected. Very patient as I tried to find a single box large enough for the 6 LootCrate...crates...to send to him. Also as shocked as I when I saw the shipping.
JTD121 was the Seller on March 22, 2016 ArsTechnica
Hopefully his nephew remembers his nerdy uncle when he's all growed-up!
Would definitely deal with again!April 19, 2016

byosys (21)
Bought a semi-non-working Thinkpad T22 from Steve here. Haven\'t been able to boot it up, and I don\'t have the anti-static stuff to really take it apart the way I want, but I will still bring this one as a positive, as it will give me a 20GB drive and 128MB RAM for my digital picture frame if I can\'t fix it or get it going again. Took a while to get the details, and even the money together, and it got here very quickly, so all around good transaction!
JTD121 was the Buyer on July 13, 2007 ArsTechnica
Would definitely do this again, very helpful and full of information on the items he has.
Good fellow.July 16, 2007

Majestic 12 (8)
Bought a Nintendo64 with controller, AV cables, power, RAM cart, etc. Four games came with it. Two I already have, but it\'s never too late to have a backup! We had some quick e-mails, and he shipped same day I said I would buy it, even before PayPal was sent. Got here on Tuesday, the 20th because of the holiday. It was all very, VERY well packed. Each component was in it\\\'s own little package, the games were together in a bubblewrap bag. Excellent trader, would do business in a heartbeat. Now, onto Majora\\\'s Mask!

Even let me choose the normal Jumper Pak, or the RAM Pak. :)
