We had a deal to buy a paintball mask from this kid(who is a mod at PBnation) thats advertised as new $30 shipped. We talked a bit in PM and agreed to the $30 via paypal(later I find out its not his account but a \'friends\'). I sent the money and and wait a week only to get some old beat up pos mask thats neither new or worth $30.

I got ahold of this guy and he says he screwed up and didnt see that mask because hes selling it for a friend.
We agree on a FULL refund and I ship his mask back. 3 weeks go by and I dont hear from this kid so I track him down finally and threaten to take legal action. Only then does he respond to me and has the mask back does he send half my money back and tells me hes charging me for the box and shipping + restocking fees!

To top it all off I find him in an IRC channel and he pretty much laughs it off and thinks hes cool and its funny and makes every BS excuse he can to legitemize his F up.

I lost a few bucks which isnt a big deal but the fact that he laughed it off and thinks its funny to rip people off is utterly disgusting imo. If you want to see the logs and emails PM me at anandtech (name is Wulf there) and Ill show ya the proof :).

I talked with CJ a little bit about the board and haggled over the price a bit since it had a broken ram clip and a broken agp clip(which was noted in his original post). I sent him the money first even though he didn't have any heat and waited for my package with eager anticipation.

When I got the board a few days later I noticed it had a second broken ram clip and the chipset fan didnt work. I messaged him and let him know what the situation was and he said he would do whatever it took to make it right. After thinking it over I decided I didnt feel comfortable using a board that had more issues than the original ones noted. I asked him if he would be willing to refund my money plus the cost of shipping it back. He said not to worry about shipping it back and refunded all my money!!!

I've always thought that what makes a good trader is a person that does what it takes to make a deal right when things don't go just perfectly or even when they don't really have to and CJ is definetly one of those good traders.

I was going to sell some other older components to pay for my upgrade but since it was basically free I put it all together and gave it to a family of 5 that didnt have a comp. BTW, they told me to tell you thanks ;)
