The pci-e power adapter the card came with was either defective or the older style that doesn\'t offer all 5 pins of power (tm). This was frustrating for me at first, but then I realized if I was in his shoes, I probably would not have taken the time to test the adapter before I sent it, nor would I have previously known there was a difference in the adapters. I decided not to hold this against him, and otherwise, everything went great.
