Purchased a barebones DFI nF4 Socket 939 combo

Addendum: The package was indeed well packed and arrived in a timely fashion. The motherboard however has an obvious blown diode with ash and soot all around the area on the MB upon opening from the package. After being hooked up, it would not post at all despite multiple configurations in hardware and flashing to factory default BIOS. Seller has refused to process a refund on the board despite stating otherwise in the terms of the sale. Filed a claim through Paypal.
While the seller is communicative and cordial, I urge future traders caution and restraint in purchasing from the seller.
Will not trade with again.
Response from TemperfiedPaypal closed this dispute, and you sir are in the wrong here. The motherboard shipped with NO blown diode. I have sent pictures to paypal with the Diode in question visable and there was no black residue from it being blown. I used the hardware for almost 2 years with no issue. It was removed working. The buyer took 16 days from the date it arrived to put a negative on my account. I offered the buyer the chance to work with UPS to file for insurance as when I sold the hardware to him it was being used, and it WORKED 100%. I guarantee ALL hardware arrives WORKING. If not I will file with UPS for a refund. This buyer took 16 DAYS from original arrival and THEN said it was non-functional. I am a certified technician and the hardware was installed/removed properly.March 31, 2008
