  • Sold 512 MB stick of Mushkin PC2100 DDR RAM.

burkebhamblin was the Seller on May 15, 2002 AnandTech

I sold Andrew a 512 MB stick of Mushkin DDR RAM in April. He received and signed for the package according to the FedEx tracking information. I e-mailed him on May 3 to inquire about payment, and he told me that he sent the $95.00 for the item to me on April 29. I gave it over a week but did not receive the money and e-mailed him again on May 10 and then again on May 13 with no answer to any of them. I have no idea what the problem is but I cannot get Andrew to respond at all. He did not specify how exactly he sent the money (money order, cashier\'s check, etc.) and I have no way to prove he even sent it. I would unfortunately have to recommend against trading or selling with Andrew in the future.

  • User cancelled a deal to buy an Audigy Platinum sound card and various extras that were included in the package.

burkebhamblin was the Seller on July 7, 2002 ArsTechnica

On July 1, Bobby informed me via e-mail that he wanted to purchase an Audigy Platinum drive I was selling on Ars Technica for the stated price of $120 and inquired several times afterward in regard to the item. He never indicated that he was merely considering it -- he plainly stated he would buy it. However, he sent an e-mail on Sunday, July 7 asking me not to ship it to him and that he'd would have to "pass" on it; this was nearly a week after he committed himself to the deal. I had even agreed to ship first and the item was already packed and ready to go; I also took the time and burned the latest drivers onto a CD-R for him. I would urge other potential sellers to confirm Bobby's intent to buy prior to finalizing future deals with him.
