  • My X-fi Titanium HD for his DT990

    Cross-traded on February 14, 2012 Overclock.net

D-block responded to my FS thread on OCN with an offer for a pair of headphones (DT990). I asked him if there was anything wrong with the headphones and was told that the only issue was that the bottom of the pads were a little flattened out. They didn't look bad in the pic that he sent me, not bad at all. When I received the headphones I saw that the headphones were trashed. The fabric on the pads no longer soft but felt like a carpet. The leather looked like an old wallet. All of the lettering was worn. These things were in terrible condition.

I would not have bought that up had they worked properly. When I plugged them in I noticed that one of the speakers didn't sound right. The best way that I can describe it is a rattle, mostly with bass notes. Well I ended up shipping the headphones back and he supposedly sent my sound card back.

I later received a message saying that the headphones work fine. With not explanation in how he tested them. I know for a fact that these headphones don't work properly. In the same message he started demanding that I reimburse him for shipping the awful headphones that he sent me.
