Item had to be shipped to a freight forwarding service (proxy) here in the US, which then sent the package to the buyer, who lives in South America (Uruguay). I was a little reluctant to sell to this buyer because of this unusual shipping setup. However, the address for the forwarding service was given to me by paypal as the proper shipping address, so by sending it there, I knew I was protected by paypal so long as I could show receipt of the package at that address. If the company screwed it up after that, it wasn't my fault and I could not be held liable in any way, since my only obligation was to send the package to the company address (not my responsibility after that). All in all, it worked out just fine. If anyone else in the future is a little skeptical of this, I can say that it went pretty smooth. The majority of the holdups were caused by me having to inquire about/investigate the atypical shipping procedure. I would do business with this buyer again; and the next time it will go a lot faster because I am now familiar with how it works and less concerned about sending to a forwarding company. Recommended!
