    Bought an Dell branded LSI Megaraid Enterprise 1600 from him.

    I initiated communication with Ciscokid454 around the middle of September for the card. Communication was good, and I sent payment via paypal. The paypal address he sent me was incorrect, so I pulled the payment back and sent again to his correct paypal addy the next morning. He stated the previous night he would get the card out right away. Over a week later, I started sending emails wondering where the card was because I never got any tracking info or update. I finally got a response stating he was on vacation, and he had shipped out the card a few days before (about a week after he had originally said he would get it out).

    I get the card, and it doesn't work. The NVRAM appears to be shot, becuase it won't save any settings (array or card settings) after a reboot. The card was NOT sent in an anti-static bag, and the packaging (two sheets of foam) was loose enough to allow the card to slide around from side to side in the box.

    In his for sale thread, he states he doesn't guarantee DOA, but all the stuff works. He originally repeated the same thing when I told him the card didn't work, but after a few emails offered a refund. I tried setting up an insurance claim through Fedex, but I never got the paperwork from him that I needed for the claim (basically proof of payment for shipping it), so that fell through. This is about 4 weeks after I had originally sent payment.

    The seller is away from home for work, so he doesn't want me to send the card to his home address. About another week later he sends me the address for the hotel he is staying at in GA, and says he will refund my money right away when he gets the card.

    I send the card to the hotel address via UPS, and see it is delivered, but I don't get a refund yet. 3 or 4 days after the card is received at the hotel, and a few emails from me later, I get an email from the seller stating he got the card, but he can't give me a refund until he gets paid next, which is in another week.

    I finally get my refund nearly two months to the day after I had sent payment.
