I bought 2 OCZ SSD's from esCob4r
freshmtb was the Seller on January 8, 2013 HardForum
I tried installing one of the drives in my laptop using the recovery disks that came with it.After installing Windows 7,the laptop rebooted to start Windows for the 1st time.Unfortunately,Windows would not load and I got an error message.Next I tried using my Win 7 Install disk and got the same result.I wasn't having any problems with the laptop,or the optical drive, but decided to install it in my desktop.Same thing occurred again. So between 2 different computers and 1 set of recovery disks and a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit install disk,I was unable to get windows to load on 1 of the drives, never tried the 2nd one due to the trouble I experienced with the 1st one.Seller tries to tell me I didn't install Windows properly.I've done enough simple Win 7 installations and never had a problem before. So,I filed a dispute, seller responds by escalating it to a claim.Paypal rules in my favor, seller becomes extremely angry and accuses me of trying to "scam" him.I send the 2 drives back to him in the small flat rate priority box with 2 pieces of foam that he sent it to me in.He receives the drives, then starts to accuse me of cloning the drive(I don't even know how to do that)and tampering with the warranty seals(more lies)Personally,I think he tampered with them himself just to slander me so he could get some sick sense of satisfaction.Avoid this seller at all costs,he is not to be trusted.
Response from esCob4rYou can easily see in this thread that this trader is completely wrong. The drives work fine. I have proof of the drives SSDLife showing up as healthy. And out of spite he broke the warranty seals on my drives.
