It took him a while to ship it. First he did, then he didn't. Then he was grounded and couldn't. Only shipped after the Blade got ahold of him on a previous deal that had also gone sour.

I received the heatink, but he left out the details of the broken bolt in the mounting hole, and the one stripped as well.

Bought Sony CD-ROM

I purchased a Sony CD-ROM off of Ray over on emonth ago. Sent his money order out on 09/23/03. He recieved it on 09/27/03. He then stated that he went to ship the package and the address was wrong. I gave him the correct address again, he said he would ship it out that day and provide a confirmation #. That number never showed up. On 10/06/03 I sent him a message telling him I'd not yet recieved the drive. He sent a message that things seemed to be slow and keep him updated. 10/10/03 contacted him again saying there was still no sign of the drive, he asked I wait one more day. 10/13/03 I say "Still no drive" and ask for the conf# he said he'd look for it, he couldn't find it. 10/15/03 Still no drive, he says that it came back from the post office, that he will send it out 10/21/03 I still don't have the drive, so I ask blade to step in. I get a message from Ray saying he is sorry and UPS will be picking it up on 10/22/03. Sent him an email 10/25/03 inquiring as to what the trackin# was again. His answer "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll get it shipped out today." This is 1 month later. Then, on 10/27/03 he pays for shipping and gives me a tracking # but fails to have the package picked up or dropped off until 11/07/03. I recieved the drive today 11/13/03 almost 2 months after I originally sent payment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY trade with this guy. He is completely irresponsible. Learn from my, and three others experieneces and stay away from him.

I was VERY close to posting a negative on this trader. It is only due to the fact that we have traded successfully in the past that I did not give him the negative he probably deserves.

Here is how the deal went:

Sept 24: We agree to do a straight trade, my Flash book for his RAM. We both agree to mail the next day.

Sept 25: I mail book, he doesn't mail RAM.

Sept 26: He receives book, and tells me that the RAM package was returned to him due to wrong address on packing slip. Funny thing is on the 24th, he sent me a pic of the packing slip, and it had the correct address on it.

Until October 15 (I can provide exact dates and emails/IMs/PMs if anybody is interested), I hear a lot of lies about mailing.

First, he tells me he mailed and it was returned (see above). Then he tells me that his boss at work is going to mail it. However, he doesn't bother to tell me that his boss didn't mail it until I CONTACTED HIM to find out where the package was.

Then, he tells me his mom will mail for him. Again, he doesn't contact me to tell me that his mom didn't send it until I CONTACTED HIM several days later looking for tracking. He then promises to mail it AGAIN.

Couple days later, after not hearing from him, I CONTACT HIM AGAIN, and am told he is grounded and cannot mail.

When he then posts on HF to sell his system, I then publicly ask him about why he keeps lying to me, and demand the shipment of the RAM to me as he promised weeks ago.

Remember, he's been enjoying the book since Sept. 25, and I've had nothing but lies.

Only then does he contact me after ignorning me for two days in IMs, and tells me he will ship it out AGAIN. It finally did arrive...but then he sends me an IM (and includes a letter in the package with the RAM) asking me to remove my comments in his for sale thread.

I've now done four deals with this trader. The first two went fine, and I even met him in person. However, the other two deals were worse...one one of them he sent me the wrong item, and I told him to forget it. The last deal here, he lied to me four times (more with the other promises in the three weeks), and I don't tolerate that.

If somebody is running behind, just tell the other person. However, to LIE and tell them you shipped, and then say the packaging slip was wrong (and after even sending me a picture of it that showed it was right!!!), then I have an issue with that.

Online trading requires honesty, and trust. Due to the last two problems, I was very tempted to put a negative on this account, but the only saving factor for this trader is the fact that we had some good deals before.

My recommendation would be that this trader will deliver, eventually. However, if your item does not arrive the FIRST TIME he promises it was mailed, it is time to start hounding him for the delivery of what you have gotten from him.

Will I deal with this trader again? I don't know. I can't stand to be lied to over and over and over by somebody. I may change my mind depending on the deal down the road, but rest assured that I will only mail payment or items AFTER receiving his end of the trade after awhile.

It is very hard to get rid of a negative on this site, and I didn't want to put that on this trader if he changes his methods down the road. However, I will not hesitate to change this feedback to a negative if this trader raises issue with my comments, or ever lies to me again in a deal.
