the card had been running with a passive heatsink but when i told him that i needed it for a htpc and would like it to have the stock low profile sink he said he would try it. he even added thermal compound to the gpu so the smaller stock sink would be cooler and not as loud for my htpc -- he went the extra mile -- and kept me in the loop the whole time during the process of geting the stock sink back on and during the shipping process.
