I purchased 2 x 1gb sticks of Team Xtreem Memory from Gary.
Big Lar was the Buyer on June 28, 2006 AnandTech
Well, in his thread, he linked to a set of Team Xtreem ram, that he noted as being the \"Exact\" sticks in the link. Well, they are not.
The SPD on the chips are different, the Week of the chips are different, and the Serial #\'s are different.
The ram also showed up with Bent up Heat Spreaders,of which he said the OPB had bent them, well, to make a long story short, I paid Top Dollar for the Ram, as I was assured it was the Exact ram in the link, and I found this trader to be nothing short of Arrogant and Rude, once he got his $$ of course. He is not the type of person I would want to ever trade with again, and I have started a Dispute at Paypal, as well as Contacted the Troll Hunters, and the Anandtech Moderator. I want my Money back from this Fraudulent Deal.June 29, 2006

I responded to his thread for an OEM Windows XP
Big Lar was the Buyer on January 1, 2002 AnandTech
After some discussion via PM's, we decided to make the deal, My Money Order for $130.00,( his asking price), for the OEM XP. I sent the Money Order via USPS Priority mail, and He, after Recieving my MO, ( which we did in fact state that he would send the item out on Monday, me sending out on Saturday, as he worked Saturday, tho this was in fact set up as a Cross Trade).Anyhow, he sent out on Tuesday after recieving the MO, stating that the "lines" were too long on Monday, which was OK. Problem began when I opened the Box, and saw that this was in fact an NFR CD of XP, not the OEM that he in fact stated he was sending. After contacting him with an admitted amount of over zealousness on my behalf, he stated amongst other things, that he did have an oem, and there was no difference. Well, to me there IS a difference from NFR and OEM, and to top it off, it even States in the Anandtech Forum Rules, that there is to be No NFR to be sold on the forum. Also, the arrogance of this person, to outright challenge me on the issue is just sad, as I was Not in the wrong. He did However send me a MO for $134.00, his selected amount for a refund, via Snail mail mind you, and I have sent the CD back to him via Priority Mail with DC, and Insurance. I got a very uneasy feeling during the whole mess with him, and am thus leaving a neutural for this person, Perhaps he should read the Forum Rules.

I initially contacted this Gent, on the 21st, and obligated myself to buying a 2.6 cpu, Upon sending Paypal, I found that I had a problem with my acct, and immediately contacted Michael letting him know this, and to not wait on me to sell the item if he got a chance. On the 23rd, I had the issue resolved, and inquired as to whether Mike still had the chip, he replied"Still have, not pending...SEND THE COIN...LOL! PayPal: Heatware: mamisano Thanks
Big Lar was the Buyer on December 22, 2003 AnandTech
So, I send Paypal, with the trust that is usually given with a member with a substantial amount of Heat, However, his reply was:"Thanks, just received it. Will send you a note with DC# when it ships, probably Wednesday/Thursday at the latest. I expected to have it shipped right away, however, I replied,"Great....
Larry " I didn't see a choice. On Thursday, I sent a PM, as I had received No feedback."Just checking up here, did you send the chip yet?
Larry "My reply from Mike was: "Did not get to P.O. today. I have off tomorrow and it will certainly go out. Thanks for your patience
-Michael"
And my Reply to that was: "Lets just say for the sake of the Holidays, that I am Very non plus'd to have to wait.
Larry " The only corespondence I got after that was from usps saying that Mike had shipped the package and I had a DC#. Now, My beef is, that if Mike could not get to the PO right away, I think he should have stated that. I shouldn't have to ask. I also do not think communication was very good on his behalf. Hence after Long thinking about it, I am leaving a neutural, not to be a rude person, but just because I think Mike sluffed the deal off completely. He could have contacted me and stated that he couldn't get to the PO on the day he stated, and I think he Should have stated up front, that he wouldn't be able to ship right away. I thought his end on the deal was pretty Lax.
Response from mamisanoIf it was expected to ship right away, that should have been stated up front. I was a day late in shipping the part and did fail to communicate that until I was asked. The part went out on a Friday, rather than Thursday. If there was an urgency to have the chip, he should have made sure his PayPal was in order earlier in the week and also told me he needed it ASAP.December 22, 2003
