Dealing with him was fantastic from A to Z. He responded quickly to PM's. He handled himself in a very professional manner and shipped the items promptly through UPS.

The package was packed very carefully and the packing material was more than adequate for the task. Overall, his packing was nothing short of superb. After having spent a dozen years(in my 20's) as a purchasing agent, I know a good packing job when I see one. He cut no corners.

I would have no hesitation in recommending a trade with him. In fact, I'd lay my 9-10 years of [H]eat reputation on the line and say that you're trading with a good fellow here.

I'm actually quite disappointed in my trade with TexBill. After 5 years as a purchasing manager, and 8 years of trading online...I felt I was the connoisseur of packaging items for shipment properly. I was dealt a serious blow when I received TexBill's box this afternoon. The knuckle draggers at USPS beat the poor box within an inch of its life...but lo and behold. The items inside - Perfect. The packaging wasn't just good folks...it was exquisite in every detail.

I purchased a combo set from Alan consisting of an ASUS P5Q motherboard, Q9550, 8 GB's of G. Skill, and an HD 5870 video card. He was kind enough to just toss in 4 white s-ata cables as a bonus.

Probably only once in a gentlemen's lifetime do you get the chance to meet someone like Alan. If I proudly state...This guy is on the ball with his trades. Somehow, I feel I'm actually doing him a great disservice...

I say this with no jesting, he IS the only person I can honestly mention in the last 12 years I've been a member of Heatware that has pulled off the perfect trade.

Let's get down to the facts...he was kind enough to work with me on a payment system and didn't mind waiting up to 14 days for the latter payment.

He even went to the trouble of tearing down the system, taking extra close up pictures of the items after cleaning them up AND pre-packaged everything so he could ship fast on the back end.

Not to mention, his packing skills displayed the expertise of a skilled craftsman...I was sincerely ashamed at my own packing prowess as I opened his box. Perfect. As in Mozart's #40 in G Minor perfect.

I might add...I paid him the final payment on a Friday evening and he had the tracking label ready within 10 minutes and went out of his way to ship on a Saturday? I literally blinked and the package was here on Monday morning!

Would I recommend him for a trade? I actually don't feel worthy to do so.

Although...if you're fortunate enough to enter into a trade with Alan I can only hope that you take notice of the subtle perfection that encompasses that transaction.

From my perspective, he's a connoisseur. Period. End of Story.
