  • DFI NF4 SLI DR with all the accessories for $130

cloud_171 was the Buyer on May 15, 2006 AnandTech

He agreed to send it through USPS Priority with delivery confirmation he did neither. He misrepresented the item and sent a DFI NF4-D which cost 80$ less than the SLI-DR. He avoids all questions and replies with something completely irrelvant from what I ask. After 35 e-mails with him responding he has only answer 2 questions. I returned the motherboard and he did not send a single e-mail after having the board for over a week. So far no response and its been over 2-3 weeks and still no replies even though he still visits and bumps his thread. Beware buyers!

  • A complete gaming system. Included 7950GX2, P5W DH, 150GB Raptor, 4 gigs of ram, and a Dell 24\" monitor.

cloud_171 was the Buyer on September 26, 2006 AnandTech

I would be very careful with this seller. He is unorganized and unprofessional. He shipped the monitor and system separately. The seller agreed to ship first as long as I help with the shipping which I did through Paypal. It took him over a week to provide me with the tracking number for the system and never received one for the monitor. The system arrived in shambles due to supposed shipping damages. UPS picked it up for damage inspection.

He supposedly ordered a stop shipment on the monitor and said he had to review the condition before he will ship it back. We reached an agreement on the price for the monitor and later that week he said he couldn\'t ship it due to the refusal of the insurance claim. Less than a week later he posts the monitor up on Anandtech without even offering the monitor to me.

His explanation was \"look, to put it shortly, i do not want to deal with you, seeing as our last dealing involved me losing about $400. now i do not think it was your fault, i just do not want to deal with you again.\"

I don\'t understand why that has bearing on our agreement for the monitor. At first I could have cared less about the shipping money but after his unprofessional reaction and the broken agreement left me no choice. Just because the amount of money is small does not mean that the seller has the right to forfeit my payment after breaking the agreement. If I paid a deposit for the car and suddenly the seller lost money because one of his other sales went bad, does that give him the right to forfeit the deposit and keep the car?

His deals might be nice but the hassle and the hoops you have to jump through aren?ÇÖt worth it. Take a look at his other heatware, most of them had to call his mother in order for him to ship.

This user is quibbling over $25.
I gave him a deal $800 off retail price! the system was destroyed.

I did not want to risk dealing with him again, seeing as UPS was horrible on his end, AND he did NOT EVER pay me

  • It was a trade for a 250gb ATA for a 250gb SATA.

    Cross-traded on September 6, 2005 AnandTech

I sent first because I am new to this and we both agreed on priority mail. He recieved it and said he would ship it. 3 days later, no package so I called and he said he shipped it yesterday. Waited 4 days and asked again and said he would call the post office. He then told me that the package was sent to Tennessee. Every time I would ask him for a delivery confirmation number and he would eventually ignore me. He said that he would send back my ata while the mess was being cleared up and I was ok with that. Asked him for a confirmation number also and never a response. Kept messaging him for about a week for the confirmation number. I decided to contact a trollhunter about it. After that he finally gave a confirmation number. He said he shipped it a few days before but the confirmation number said it was shipped that day. I finally got the SATA hard drive and was in working conidition. I would advise you to stay away from this seller. Do a search on the forums on Anandtech.com and you will see the other complaints.

    Response from ttoad4000t
What he fails to mention, is after I got it returned from TN, I told him I was going to send the SATA, and he told me to wait a week, as he was going to have a friend pick it up, which never happened, so I sent it out and a day later he contacts troll-hunters. Maybe he should tell the whole story before leaving feedback like this.
