EDIT: Being that it was NEVER used, I'm assuming it was never tested. I tested the ram with windows memory diagnostic because I was prompted to, failure. Then tested with memtest, another failure. Awaiting response from seller via private message. Will update again soon!

Update Edit: Spoke with buyer who recommended me to RMA with corsair. Received an RMA number and sent the ram modules out. He was very apologetic about the ordeal and I believe he had no prior knowledge that the sticks were bad.

Update: Received new kit from corsair and everything works great.
